  1. So after talking to some of my friends they had my try to jump my power supply and nothing happened so we are pretty sure the my PSU gave out
  2. Yes no GPU and only one stick of Ram
  3. Ok so i did that and the led on my cooler started to flicker quite a bit and the all the fans tried to spin
  4. So there are no clicks coming from the PSU should I still try removing you and ram
  5. So my computer wont boot up. The LED's come on and i see the case fans try to spin and my cooler lights try to come on but it doesn't boot. Not sure what trouble shooting steps I should start with z370 motherboard 8700k 16gb of ram Evga gtx 1080 Evga 600w power supply
  6. Yeah I kind of figured it was just gonna go back to that anyway
  7. Yeah thats what I figured. Thanks for you help
  8. So I am moving my current setup in to my shed for more space, and i need the most reliable way of getting my internet over there i know a fair bit about networking so i know some options but there are pros and cons to all of them and just want to know what the best option is What i would like: To keep as much of my gigabit interent speed as possible ( I know with most of these i will lose some which is fine) Keep most of my stuff that needs internet accesss hard wired ( having half decent wifi would be nice as well for my phones and things like that but that is low priority) My cucrrent soution: I currently have and erro mesh network router and have serveal of them leading from my modem to my shed. I get a reliable internet connection but at a really reduced speed of around 60-80 up and down which is I know is still usable but know where near the 800-900 I am used to getting be directly wired in Solutions I have though of: Powerline adapter into network switch. My problem with this is that i haven't read great things on using a switch on a powerline adapter and I am no 100% positive it will work. From what I know about powerlin adapters it should becasue the electricty in the shed it wired from the same room as my current modem and router The obvious one to me is just running an eathernet cable to the shed. My complait with this is just having to make holes and burry the cabel other than that I have no issue Lastly was to use some kind of PtP link. Only thing being is i still have to make holes i just dont have to burry a cabel but then i get the added work of setting up those things correctly I am happy to give more info if needed
  9. Ok I'll try that thank you for your help
  10. Also I think it is important for me to note because I don't think I made this clear enough is that these setting and parts have worked fine for streaming and recording for the past year only this week did obs start to act weird. I didn't change any setting or hardware. It is not a new build or like I Swaped a part out and it stopped working or I changed some setting in obs it. It just one day it was working fine and the next it wasn't
  11. I'm not so sure its a problem with my computer as I think its a problem with obs itself. My game runs just fine with or without obs running, obs is the only thing where I see a problem
  12. Not experiencing any thermal throttling also game runs fine it is only obs that acts weird i can play the game and get a constant 70 fps or above but obs will only get say its getting around 37 or so
  13. Specs Processor: 6700k Graphic card: gtx 960 Ram: 16gb And while gaming the cpu would sit between 47-60 gpu constant 72
  14. So my issue is that in obs I seem to be getting a pretty big frame drop that is really noticeable. I did have the problem until just recently. I haven't made any changes to my settings in a couple of months and it just started acting funny the other day. Later today i found out that don't even have to be streaming or recording to see the frame drop below the 60 fps I usually use. Also I only experience this with PC streaming if I use my capture card for console the problem goes away. Also idk if this matters but when I minimize the game to do something else obs is goes back to 60 fps but then goes right back to dropping as soon as I get the game back up. Just found out that if play in border less window the it gets a little better still experience a little frame drop but not nearly as bad
