Well the big server keeps erroring trying to run FAH for some reason, could switch it over to WCG ?

Could throw it on my acc ;). I'm currently destroying the output of everyone above me (and I think below).

I found a very nice/easy way to manage Debian headless BOINC installs. If you edit /var/lib/boinc/remote_hosts.cfg and add the Static IP of a Debain GUI install you can have one Debian head control all of your headless:

If you plan to partake next year this may be of use to you. It's been invaluable to me.

Yea you can do with from a Windows box as well, just allow remote management then point to the remote hosts.

I tried doing this with a Windows head and it did not like it. Threw an error. Something about not recognizing the file path. Windows as BOINC nodes perform considerably worse than Linux(Debain) nodes. I plan to convert the 32C/64T server to Debain in the future. I expect a noticeable bump in WCG productivity.

    Unrelated:

While I'm here. I'm working on a guide on how to build a rudimentary DAS. When I have the rough draft done I'd like someone with superior knowledge in the field to probe it for anything blatantly inaccurate, not recommended practices, or where I could add general improvements (clarifying things). Would it bother you if I picked your brain when that's ready?

*poke* Just looking for a yes or no. If you don't want to or can't I'll come up with a different plan.
