  1. Hmm fair call i I don’t think Many/no models have made it to Australia yet I would be interested
  2. There doesn’t seem to be too much that I have seem on the new standard just wondering what the difference is between 3.0 and 3.1 and is it worth buy a 3.1 over a 3.0 for a new build cheers
  3. So even down the track (year or 2) will we see pcie 5.0 devices?
  4. Hmm okay, I kinda need the usb ports for the sim racing I’ll have a look
  5. I appreciate that, only went with intel initially because it’s familiar to me and haven’t heard of much memory issues unlike x3d, if I was to upgrade cpu it wouldn’t be for a while hence the 600kf I know the r7 is killer but don’t want to deal with the issues
  6. Thanks for the input, what am I loosing out on from x670 vs b650??
  7. Just heard a lot about memory issues and random crashing on x3d which is why I’m hesitant to go that route as I do not want to deal with that
  8. Not going to lie thought about the amd cpus but not sure about the x3d stuff and not a fan of amd GPUs from past experiences
  9. I see where you’re coming from. Thanks for the input I will keep it in mind but I would like a k series cpu and z series mobo (I know the mobo is as much as the the cpu but z790 ain’t cheap in Aus) unless the performance gap is large enough, I was thinking I could upgrade to the i9 down the track if I didn’t want a whole platform upgrade?? i want to keep the nzxt case and aio
  10. Budget (including currency): Country: $3000AUD Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming/sim racing Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I have an ASUS vg28uql1a, budget is only for the system and not windows Looking at buying in a month or so it’s been far too long with no PC been plotting and planning here his what I have come up with it has been a while since I have been in the game so want others input https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/LNy628 Cheers Maverick
