  2. No sorry I wasnt clearer the worst I had was in a cut scene. Like I said I maybe being to picky with it. It also may just be farcry idk why it would be but I have only tried to other games besides farcry and havent had an issue. Thanks for helping me!
  3. A little bit of an update rocket league it seems to be fixed in. Earlier it was running at 1080p on a 1440p monitor cause the game wouldnt let me change the resolution it just did and seems to be fine but that wasnt my main issue. FarCry Primal is the game that it does it in the most and maybe the only game it does it in I just got this monitor a couple of days ago and wanted to try out a new title on it. I would say it happens every 3 minutes or so and it just depends in the cut scene it was bad enough cause it cut in like 4 different places. I could deal with it but I was hoping there was a fix
  4. Maybe I'm just being picky but I dont remember it doing this on my old monitor.
  5. GTX 970 intel i-7 6700k games run super smooth its just you can see it cut along the vertical axis sometimes if that makes sense
  6. Just got an ASUS PB258Q a 25 inch 2560x1440 monitor. I'm getting a good amount of screen tearing in cut scenes of games and just some in general while I'm playing. I saw some places say turn on adaptive sync so I did and I'm still getting the same results. I also have tried Vsync on and off in games and doesnt make a difference. I just need to know if its on my end or the monitors end so I know whether or not its a defect.
  7. it is lol just ran it with a single 970 and did better.
  8. Ready Average Fidelity. No frames below 90. No cpu bound. i-7 6700k @ 4.4 water cooled MSI GTX 970 4G 16GB of ddr4 Vengence ram GIGABYTE G1 Gaming GA-Z170X-Gaming 7 1000 watt power supply and mastercase pro 5 if that matters to you
  9. I have a 120 hz tv want to use it for racing games not my main but anyway cant get NVIDIA to realize its 120 and not just 60 hz. here is the tv http://www.tclusa.com/archivedmodels/48fs4610/ the manufactures website says its rated for 120 and I would assume it is just need some help. I tried the custom resolution thing on nvidias control panel but I'm not sure if that's what I'm supposed to do or not

  12. So I just got a new computer and I finally decided to listen to some much with my Razer Kraken Pros and noticed that the quality was way better than if I plugged it into my phone. Now the only thing I can think of is my motherboard a Gigabyte z170X gaming 7 being the reason its better but why? Full volume on the computer distorts the music but at 50 it sounds great but i can turn it up all the way on my phone no problem no distortions. Let me clarify at 50 percent on my computer is way louder than full on my phone. So why is this im not complaining but are people buying expensive headphones for there phones when actually they are a lot better on a pc if you have the right motherboard cause my old motherboard was not like this but it was a cheap one. So if someone wants to explain id appreciate it
  13. Thank you to everyone that has said something I really do appreciate it this is my first time posting and I honestly didnt think I was going to get this much help so that you again
  14. Honestly anything if I think it looks fun. Newer titles probably but CS GO is really fun but im obviously not getting the monitor for that. I really just want something that will look sharp with any game. Newer or older. I have a flat screen for my xbox one and its really good for a tv that is only 1080p 60 hz 48 inches. I should really look into why its so sharp because its beautiful with the xbox one
  15. I am currently using a TV as a main monitor. It looks ok but I defiantly need better. Ive saw mixed opinions on wether the 970 can 4K game or not. So first off if I get a 4K will it look better on medium graphics than a 1080p TV running 60 hz? I do but I honestly dont know that much about monitors. My second question is do you think i would be better off getting a 144 hz monitor. I have an intel i5 4670K overclocked at 3.8 and 970 and 16 gigs of ram. If you need any more specs just ask
