  1. So I bought windows 7 on ebay around a year ago, I currently have the parts for my new pc and I am about to build it but I want to move this windows 7 on to my new computer, I checked the product ID and it has "OEM" in it, Can I use this key with another computer/ Different brand of motherboard? The pc I am using now is custom made and I'm a bit confused as how an OEM version is on a custom made computer?
  2. Yep, Already planning on getting an aftermarket cooler (212 EVO) thank you
  3. http://pcpartpicker.com/user/justinkea/saved/XnRWGX there it is in pc part picker, I have no clue how to export it in BBCode format as I am not experienced with using forums but I hope that helps

  5. What psu do you think would fit as a good replacement that isn't expensive?
  6. Yeah, Someone on another forum told me to try and buy a new better psu and I also already have a GTX 970 which I'm pretty sure has better performance than a r9 380 so no reason for that.
  7. I've heard things about DirectX 12 being able to use more of the i7 while gaming, So it's mostly for future proofing.
  8. Hmm I might get two more 4 gig sticks then, Also I only have 400 dollars, I need to buy a whole new motherboard, I simply can't afford a i7 right now but I'm planning ahead for the i7 c:
  9. Thank you! c: I probably should have looked harder.
  10. So I'm pretty sure I have everything down, But I'd like to get any second opinions on my system. I currently have: CPU: FX 6300 (Stock speeds, Stock fan) GPU: GTX 970 Motherboard: ASUS M5A78L-M LX PLUS (am3+) RAM: Two Crucial Ballistix Sport 4GB HDD: One WD Blue 1TB Western Digital and another older HDD that I'm going to be putting up (The older one is the one with my OS on it I recently bought the 1TB SSD: None, Yet Power supply: EVGA 100-W1-500-KR 500W This Christmas, I'm going to be getting $400, I want to spend all of this on upgrading this pc. I was thinking this would be good but I'd like second opinions from you guys CPU: i5 4590 (Replacing the FX 6300, Not going to be overclocking so I didn't get a K version, Stock fan) GPU: GTX 970 Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z97X-GAMING 3 LGA 1150 Z97 (Z97 Because next year I will be getting an i7 4790k and overclocking) RAM: I will be using my two 4GB of ballistix and I will add one 8GB ballistix equaling to 16GB of ram HDD: WD Blue 1TB Western Digital SSD: Planning on getting an SSD later next year Power supply: EVGA 100-W1-500-KR 500W Case: Either getting a NZXT Phantom 410 Series for free from a friend or a RAIDMAX Scorpio V I also want Windows 10 so I will be putting Windows 7 on my WD blue and upgrading to Windows 10 from there, Unless there is an easier way to do it? But opinions are greatly welcomed
