  1. I tried reseating the GPU and I've tried a different PSU. Monitor works fine as well as the cable for it. So I guess RMA then. A different question while I'm playing a game my 960 isn't going over 40% Usage, while my CPU is at 60% usage. Setup: AMD FX-8350 GPU PNY GTX 960 4GB 8GB 1866mhz RAM 725w Power Supply
  2. I built a PC with the R9 380 on it. It's working fine for a month and a half then one afternoon a week ago, it just stopped "working". It doesn't feed any information to the monitor whatsoever. The PC itself wasn't messed with or fiddled around with whatsoever. I replaced it with a GTX 960, and it's working flawlessly. Did the GPU just die for no reason? Should I RMA it?
  3. Okay, cool. Thanks for the info.
  4. I see, but having that temp for just that long shouldn't have damaged my GPU in any way that much, right?
  5. Hi, I have an AMD Radeon R9 380 Sapphire Nitro. It accidentally got to more than 95C+ because the fans did not start spinning for some reason. Might be because my AMD Radeon Settings conflicted with MSI Afterburner for some reason? I have a fan curve set on MSI Afterburner and it's working fine. It was just that one moment for whatever reason. So it stayed at that temp for like 15-25 mins. Is this okay as long as it does not happen again?
  6. I see, aight then. Well thanks for everyone's input. I appreciate it.
  7. Should I push to 4.3 or 4.4 or even higher? Nothing. I can run it with a stable 60FPS on my laptop that had i7-2820QM and Quadro 2000M 2GB DDR3. (That was a year ago tho), so it might be?
  8. Hi guys, for some reason, I can only generate 40-60 FPS in GTA V while just walking/driving around in the streets. My system specs are: CPU: AMD FX-6300 3.5 GHz (OC'ed to 4.2 GHz) GPU: AMD Radeon R9 380 4GB GDDR5 (Stock) RAM: 8GB My in-game settings are: Fullscreen resolution: 1920x1080 Population (both): half Distance scaling: 1/4 Other settings all at low (normal) Shouldn't I be able to at least generate a stable 60 FPS with my specs and at least settings on medium (high)? Or is there something I could do to increase my FPS while still maintaining the 1080p resolution?
  9. Oh, my bad. I meant to close this thread. I had to write Zeroes on the SSD. And yes, I did switch. And no, it does not. Although I fixed it though, I appreciate the help.
  10. Hi my current system specs are: MoBo: ASUS M5A97 R2.0 CPU: AMD FX-6300 (Overclocked to 4.2GHz) GPU: AMD Radeon R9 380 4GB GDDR5 RAM: 1x8GB HyperX 1866 MHz PSU: Sentey 725W What is a good CPU to upgrade to whilst still keeping the motherboard and have a bit of headroom? (not really necessary)
  11. You'll get better in time. Specially since you're aware that you don't play that well yet. It would help you focus on things to improve yourself at.
  12. Ah, that sucks. There's always FaceIT, CEVO, and ESEA.
  13. Does your system crash that often to get you a 7-day cooldown?
