  1. ..... that was it. It was either going to be something very stupid or something very complicated and I guess it was the first one. Anyway, thanks a lot for taking your time answering my questions!
  2. No every x stands for number. I also thought the IP might be the problem, but because he said another friend joined him via 192.168.xxx.xx:25565 and it worked I assumed it was fine.
  3. Yeah I did that and I just get Request timed out. Request timed out. Request timed out. Request timed out. Ping statistics for 192.168.xxx.xx: Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 0, Lost = 4 (100% loss),
  4. Sorry I'm not very familiar with networking-terms, but are you asking if we're on the same provider? (So for example we're both using Verizon?) I honestly have no idea which provider they have, but I'm 99.9% sure I have a different one than my friend. No clue if the other people have the same provider. And yeah it reached 30 hops and it's still just * * * Request timed out.
  5. Hmmm, that's weird, because someone else is playing on the server right now and he's not on the same network as him or anything. I also don't think my my friend changed any settings, because he isn't very tech-savvy (I'm pretty sure he just followed some youtube tutorial on how to make and port forward a Minecraft server).
  6. Okay, so I tried it with my friend's IP and here's what I got. 1 <1 ms <1 ms <1 ms ZyXEL.Home [192.168.1.1] 2 12 ms 12 ms 12 ms bng1-adt67.nl.euro.net [194.134.5.68] 3 * * * Request timed out. 4 * * * Request timed out. etc etc So I guess it's my router then?
  7. I suspect it's some setting in my router then. Doing a tracert seems like a good option though, but I barely have any networking experience. Could you tell me how to do this?
  8. So in these quarantine times I thought I would start up Minecraft again. A friend of mine has a simple server that he port forwarded and other people are able to join without a problem. However, when I'm trying to join, I get the following error message: "io.netty.channel.abstractchannel$annotatedconnectexception connection refused no further information". I've tried pretty much everything so far: - Re-installing Minecraft - Changing Firewall settings - Disabling Firewall - Installing the latest version of Java - Changed some router settings (I didn't have a clue what I was doing, though) I can join other servers like Hypixel without a problem. I really have no clue what to do now...can anyone help me here? Thanks in advance.
  9. Kinda forgot to say that my budget is 100 euros and that I just want people to hear me clear, don't really care about the mic quality
  10. My Playstation Gold Wireless headset broke, so I was looking for a new one. I mainly plan to use it on PS4. I looked a bit and found these headsets: HyperX Cloud ii Gamign Headset (€89) Creative Sound BlasterX H5 (€103,24) Creative Sound BlasterX H5 Tournament Edition (€69) Creative Sound BlasterX H7 (€99) Creative Sound BlasterX H7 Tournament Edition (€101,95) Which one do you recommend and what is the difference between these? mainly between the tournament and the non tournament edition.
  11. Does a standard Full HD tv support that? And I can't really buy from amazon.com or I would need to pay 100+ dollars on shipping, what do I need to type in google to find basically the same product?
  12. I just bought the Logitech Z506 and I'm buying a TV very soon for that, but I want to connect the Z506 directly to my TV, maintaining the Surround sound. I will be using my PC to connect to the TV, but the PC is too far away for the cables of the Logitech Z506. I know there is a solution to this, but I can't really find a good explanation somewhere, so that's why I'm asking.
  13. What if you totally remove the speaker from your phone, so you need to put your phone into paring mode again to see it. Do you see it then?
  14. Alienware... Who in their right mind would buy one? I mean if you get one for free...
  15. You need to put your speaker in "pairing mode" before connecting it to a new device.
