Sorry I'm not very familiar with networking-terms, but are you asking if we're on the same provider? (So for example we're both using Verizon?) I honestly have no idea which provider they have, but I'm 99.9% sure I have a different one than my friend. No clue if the other people have the same provider. And yeah it reached 30 hops and it's still just * * * Request timed out.

Hmmm, that's weird, because someone else is playing on the server right now and he's not on the same network as him or anything. I also don't think my my friend changed any settings, because he isn't very tech-savvy (I'm pretty sure he just followed some youtube tutorial on how to make and port forward a Minecraft server).

I suspect it's some setting in my router then. Doing a tracert seems like a good option though, but I barely have any networking experience. Could you tell me how to do this?

So in these quarantine times I thought I would start up Minecraft again. A friend of mine has a simple server that he port forwarded and other people are able to join without a problem. However, when I'm trying to join, I get the following error message: "io.netty.channel.abstractchannel$annotatedconnectexception connection refused no further information". I've tried pretty much everything so far: - Re-installing Minecraft - Changing Firewall settings - Disabling Firewall - Installing the latest version of Java - Changed some router settings (I didn't have a clue what I was doing, though) I can join other servers like Hypixel without a problem. I really have no clue what to do now...can anyone help me here? Thanks in advance.

I just bought the Logitech Z506 and I'm buying a TV very soon for that, but I want to connect the Z506 directly to my TV, maintaining the Surround sound. I will be using my PC to connect to the TV, but the PC is too far away for the cables of the Logitech Z506. I know there is a solution to this, but I can't really find a good explanation somewhere, so that's why I'm asking.

You need to put your speaker in "pairing mode" before connecting it to a new device.
