  1. hahahahah I love the excuses Canada is always an exception because it's not America, right?
  2. I'm probably just looking too far ahead R9 290 is not a bad deal though.
  3. I'd think a R9 290/x 4GB should do it. I don't game at those resolutions, but I think those cards should be able to handle it. cool simulator by the way man. Zoolander is also a great movie
  4. Let's be honest, That Spartan browser looks like a game-changer. I CAN'T WAIT until that readability mode feature comes to Windows Phone. Take out the ads off the page and everything, and just present me the text. Makes life easier.
  5. First week of college is over, and so far sooo good.

  6. Trust me, the military will find a way lol
  7. lol the military/border control will have radar and other things to detect these things flying
  8. Windows 8 was great by all means. Change is much appreciated sometimes. Windows was due for a huge refresh in the way we use computers. Windows 8 was a good first step. I can see Windows 10 finally making the Windows platform suitable for all devices across the board. Windows Phone 10 for example, will probably be amazing as well.
  9. It's a good starting point/middle ground that satisfies both sides. I'd rather Congress take responsibility and do the jobs that we assigned them to do, then handing over legislative powers over to a committee that doesn't represent us. Also, a change in FCC heads will never be able to mess with an actual bill passed in both houses of Congress and signed by the President. I'd MUCH rather have that.
  10. There is no government with no authority. You can't just "trust" people to do their part in society. There's no incentive, nor stopping of anybody from going rogue. It's like trusting wolves to be sheep, but with nothing holding them down.
  11. The reason that idea of a community based government where everyone works together is based on the flaws of human beings themselves. Every attempt to create a truly communist society has been killed in its infancy because human beings cannot manage themselves in such a way. What happens if that "trust" is broken? Do you not think humans are incapable of suppressing their personal ambitions? Therein lies the main problem: "trust" is something that cannot be "forced". Trust is strong when based on merit. Why would you just trust anything? There needs to be a reason behind trust. You cannot create a movement/government change with no leader. Throughout the many socialist revolutions in recent history, the ruling party/class is thrown out by the people; however, there is not one instance where the power does not revert back to a single person. Salin, Mao, Lenin, Ho Chi Minh, Kim Jong-Sung.. And can you guess the only successful 'communist' country to date? China, which since Deng Xiaopeng reverted the country's economy to a more 'capitalist' system. There is proof throughout history that says we simply cannot, as humans, abandon our ambitions. That's what makes us human. We all live for our own best interests. The only way to enforce socialism is through many many years of oppression. Think about it, Mao killed MILLIONS of his own people throughout China's first experiment with socialism, only for the country's next leaders to revert back to capitalism in modern times.
  12. I think that's already been tried before And I'm pretty sure it never works lol
  13. just slipstream usb 3.0 drivers to your windows 7 installation if it's THAT important to you. There's no reason to stay on 7 anyways. If you already have it, cool.
  14. AMD APU's are a great way to go for HTPC builds because of the graphics power you get from just the Kaveri chip. You could build a machine with just an APU, motherboard, memory, psu, and hdd and save a ton of money. And you can add a GPU later if you want. Should be fine for 720p-1080p games at medium settings no problem. Look for mantle support as well.
  15. Sell your kidney into sex slavery? What kind of fetish do you watch bro
  16. I'm pretty sure it's a gimmick. Looks cool but that much cooling on a mobo afaik is very unnecessary
  17. Intel NUCs are the best option for HTPC if you want something small and very low power.
  18. Making states pick up the cost... Arizona does not have money to throw around on things like this. Which means higher taxes, per demand of the federal government. Ugh. This is a terrible plan. We can't afford to hand out people free things anymore. We can hardly fund our own public schools without compromising our other needs. WHY SHOULD I PAY FOR SOMEBODY ELSE TO GO TO COLLEGE. I AM PAYING FOR MY OWN EDUCATION, NOT YOURS.
  19. Waiting patiently for 21:9 monitors to go on sale again Also hoping Intel lowers the prices of their platform ffs
  20. She's going to push AMD really hard for these next two years I'm excited to see where she can take the company in their current situation
  21. There are much newer boards supporting the FM2 platform though, and I've seen plenty good ones. The AM3 platform however, is old as dust
  22. I actually don't use any FX processors in my personal PC. Still rocking my very old Phenom II x4 960T in this one. The 8320 that I use is in the family office, and it's on an MSI 990FXA-GD80v2. I never had any problems with it, but I knew a good board was necessary
