I have a AMD rx 480. I have one monitor which supports 165hz 1440p and freesync and the other one supports 1080 60hz. No matter how many times I tried to run the 165hz one at 165hz, it keeps going back to 60hz. Every single internet guide says the same thing and it just wont work. I dont know what to do now.

Yes you do need a new motherboard. And the guy is wrong. No new intel only supports there motherboard for 1 additional year max when it comes to new cpus. higher frames need more power. higher settings need more power. try with your 1070 first and see if you are happy. Your 1070 is 2060 equalient i think.

Does the psu have a green label or black? There is no nvidia equalient. You could go for the 2070 super which is more powerful for $100 more or a 2060 super which is weaker but the same price.

Ok another possiblity. you cracked something to do with the core components. Like the cpu or mobo. Is it over heating? Are the fans super loud? Any werid things coming on the screen as it dies.

I have the HP spectre x360 13t late 2017. And that computer has not given me any problems at all. The OS is as responsive at my gaming desktop. But here is what your problems can be: A dual core A clock speeds stuck at below 1 GHz (happened to me because I fucked up and turn of the fans or something) 8 GBs or less of ram And please, turn the touch screen back on. That feature is just there not bother anyone. I do not know why you have it off. Seems like removing the radio in car even when you can just not touch it. And the G2 is like 3 years old. Either you boss cheaped out or made a bad purchase. I would recommend the latest Spectre x360 13t. THat laptop is perfect for your usage. I would say look at linus 2020 Spectre x360 review and buy it in that configuration. With a quad core, 1080p screen and 16 gb of ram. Hell even the lastest Macbook Air with 16gb of ram and an i5 works dell XPS 13 with quad core and 16gb of ram.

Ok imma try my best. How about harddrive. Is it dead. Computers can run without a CMOS battery tho im not sure about that fact in 1995. You can find used IDE laptop drives on ebay or like a recycling centre and see if that works. If you do want it try win 95 tho. It is abandonware now so you can just download it and put it on a VM on your laptop. It wont be an authentic experience tho because it will be waaaaaaaayyy faster and responsive. Win 98 on laptop is super fast. Notice a small difference than win10.

You will see an FPS bump in gaming. That A10 is W E A K. And its fine. A 1060 is still somewhat capable. It is like low mid range nowadays i think.

your gpu seems fine. I get 150 fps+ at ultra 1080p on the rx 480 so you will be good. For gpu either go with R5 3600 or R7 3700x. Buy a X570 motherboard. Or if you are fine with a b450 get the MSI b450 Pro-A. I would recommend you up your ram to atleast 3600 MHz CL 18. Higher resolution is better for sharpness. If 1080p does not bother you, you are good. If you want to upgrade your GPU, buy any of these: RX 5700, RX 5700 XT, 2070 Super, 2080 Super. Any would not recommend anything else when it comes GPUs consider your 1070.

I am looking for best sounding audio devices for my phone. I listen to all types of music but electro swing is the most common on my play list. My budget is CAD 200. I do not care if the are wired, wireless, in-ears, on-ears or over-ears. Though if they are wired, the wire can not be bigger than 1.2 meters because I do have Audio Techincas MX-20h and the 3 meter long wire is way to hard to handle on the bus. Do you folks have any recommendations? Thank you.
