  1. Pretty much why i never recommend 7950x3D CPUS. If you are a competitive gamer why did you go with a 7950x3D instead of a 7800x3D ? Only one methods always works, Disabling cores outright. Everything else relies on firmware/software to do its best to decide what cores to use. Since you have to rely on software, its not gonna get it right quite often.
  2. Its primarily a fortnite issue. Nothing you will change or do will fix it. Games like that will have major dips even on the best hardware, its why many people avoid testing it because there is so much variability match to match. You will have to adjust the ingame settings enough to mitigate most of it. Youd have to see it in 3D Mark benchmarks, or other ones to see if its a computer hardware issue, or a game engine issue.
  3. 3770 is not overclockable by conventional means, and that motherboard does not help. Budget boards generally dont let you do very much. You would have to see what bios menu that mobo has and what exactly is changable.
  4. yeah $$$. No difference in performance. All 4000 cards are virtually identical performance within their model type, there is no variance, just a bit of temps and fan noise. Generally they are all fine, just go with the cheapest one, or the one you like visually more but not more then 20-40$.
  5. Cause i have a zotac 3090ti, and once it goes beyond 2300 RPM it gets really loud lol. If you want to see the type of fan just google it. Shows up right there. Asus uses dual ball bearing, Zotac fans tend to be a bit noisy.
  6. I went from Glorious Model D to a Razer Deathadder V3 PRO. You can see if you can a deal on one from amazon. Otherwise it just comes down to hand a feel. I generally can easily recommend the glorious mice, depending on which you want for under 50$
  7. Need to upgrade the whole system not just GPU. Highest GPU id consider on that CPU is probably a 3060/3070.
  8. ASUS Warranty is trash, Zotacs is pretty non-existent. Dont expect either to be usefull or helpful if you have issues. Resale is higher on the ASUS, Zotac's warranty does not transfer upon resale. Quality id say is roughly the same, ASUS use to be much higher but nowadays its pretty much a toss up. Fans are roughly the same, i wouldnt get above 2300 RPM on them on the ZOTAC card though.
  9. Remove future proofing from your vocab. Buy what you need now not what you need for a game you dont know will exist. Generally the VRAM is enough, 16 GB is preferred but the core will be the limiting factor before the VRAM. If you play the few select games that use more then it, then yes get the bigger VRAM card.
  10. Its worth is up to you, nobody else can really answer that for you. Do you feel that its worth getting 400mhz for 50$ with a 5800x3D? You can also look on ebay for a 5800x3D and probably get it for around the same price as the 5700x3D. i went from a 3800x to a 5800x3D and it was def worth it in nov 2022 and still is
  11. not really worth it for WoW when you already have a 5600 and since you mentioned youd rather save money. Will it be better? Of course. But if you need to save money for other things, then do that! Its more important to have your money then spend it on something like this. 5700x3d/ 5800x3D makes sense for 2000/3000 ryzen rather then 5000.
  12. 2650 is an 8 core cpu. having 2 of them is only 16 cores not 20. Id honestly go with the second one.
  13. Depends on whats going on in the back ground. Sounds off for sure, but if you have programs running in the background doing stuff or downloads, yeah it can do that with that cooler. Is the cooler getting any airflow over it? or is that fan spinning for it?
  14. its a stock intel cooler, they are trash and awful lol. They will not be enough for the hotter chips of that gen.
  15. Pretty much have to stick with a Cherry red style keyswitch, or the Speedswitch clears. They tend to be quiet. Avoid Blues and blacks, they are the clicky ones, although every brand can change that so. Could always go for a used Corsair k70 Mk2, or like new on amazon for a larger discount. Other then that its going into the hell hole that is Mech keyboards and switches, with an absolute ton of choices to make.
  16. Whens the last time you updated bios? Sounds really odd as 5600 should not be causing issues. Sounds like something is amiss.
  17. That means it just goes Nothing more nothing less, it just goes. Its a VA panel for both
  18. Yeah thats how GPUS work since the 900 series. They will boost within their thermal limit and power limit with certain boost bins. An odd choice of motherboard and cpu. whats the cooler on the 14700k? How are its thermals?
  19. Phantom spirit over Peerless assasin if you are going that route, its a bit better for like 2-3$ more. But on a 14700k, id genuinely consider 280/360mm AIO. They are very hot chips. You did put two GPUS down, the DUAL series for ASUS has been the bottom barrel cards with the cheapest heatsinks they can get away with. Not usually something id recommend.
  20. How tall? https://www.amazon.com/Mimoglad-Ergonomic-Adjustable-Headrest-Armrests/dp/B0C2YQZS69?crid=46TDRUQUUXR0&keywords=Mimoglad%2BOffice%2BChair&language=en_US&linkCode=sl1&linkId=ef633e33607c14e2f5caa51978aad48a&qid=1703611527&ref_=as_li_ss_tl&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGY&sprefix=mimoglad%2Boffice%2Bchair%2Caps%2C327&sr=8-1-spons&tag=pixel-porch-20&th=1&ufe=app_do%3Aamzn1.fos.f5122f16-c3e8-4386-bf32-63e904010ad0 something like that has a 300 lb rating.
  21. 7800x3D is the best cpu on the market for gaming. A bit odd if youve done some research to ask if its enough O.o Yes you can use an aircooler on it, Thermalright Phantom Spirit https://pcpartpicker.com/product/GpbRsY/thermalright-phantom-spirit-120-se-6617-cfm-cpu-cooler-ps120se
  22. So did you do a clean install of windows or using DDU or did you just plug in your 4070ti super and not reinstall drivers? Your using a DDR4 Board, with a 13700k. Thats going to be your limitation but it shouldnt be held back that much. Also fortnite is a pretty shit game to compare FPS too because its not consistent enough, you can have areas where your FPS goes to 250-400, and then areas with 160 fps. What are your settings ingame?
  23. Yes it is more then enough Can handle a 7950x With ease, let alone a 7700x! Just know those cpus under load still get toasty as designed.
  24. Prices have already gone through the roof. Some of them are up 70% in cost from just october/november. What is your MOBO that you are using? Cause you may not have to replace your current drive, just adding it to another slot. https://pcpartpicker.com/product/bJV2FT/benchmarks/acer-predator-gm7000-4-tb-m2-2280-pcie-40-x4-nvme-solid-state-drive-bl9bwwr107
  25. Maybe, just maybe, you dont play on max settings with everything because its often pointless. Use better settings that dont kill your performance. These devs will not be optimizing, and in some ways cant, because with Ray tracing, path tracing and other settings, the hardware just isnt there yet. Figure out what is the best settings for what you want, but just saying "But my expensive PC should run max" often just makes you look silly. Theres a few best settings guides out there that compare visuals and such, often times the max settings offer very little over medium or high, sometimes its much more.
