    Intel's Puma 6 chipset, used in gigabit broadband modems around the world, suffers from latency jitter so bad it ruins online gaming and other real-time connections.  
    Here are just a few devices with PUMA 6 chipsets which tend to be associated with gigabit cable modems. Not all of these are confirmed with a problem - it is just likely at this point.
