  1. My favorite is the moused, it looks so beautiful and fancy with the border and nice logo!
  2. I have put together this setup mainly for communicating with my friends over Skype and stuff like that. No recording! However, I would like to save the ears of my closest friends and not fry them with some crappy built-in "microphone" that many headsets include. I have found a couple headsets that may be good enough for my needs, such as the Audio Technica ATH-ADG1s and the SteelSeries Siberia Elite Prism. The ADG1s are much better than the Siberia Elites, but I will have to wait to purchase them until Christmas. If you have any headset recommendations, let me know please! My other option that seems very attractive is a separate mic setup with audiophile-grade headphones, which are easily upgradable. I have picked out this inexpensive mic that doesn't require phantom power: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00VTAM710?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_5&smid=A3OEHDGZA0DKUO Along with the following accessories (if anything isn't compatible, let me know!): http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DY1F2CS?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_6&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HX40OXY?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_3&smid=AJJXN514E694T http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004SP0WAQ?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_4&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER
  3. The Steel Series Elite Prism, I know it's a headset, not a pair of headphones. I still think they look cool, especially with the illuminated ear cups.
  4. Alright, thanks for the help man. Definitely helped me out! Also, really like your build. Especially the case
  5. Thanks for the quick replies! Would you know if this switch would work? http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00004WLK5?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_sfl_title_4&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER
  6. Yeah, totally makes. I asked HOW because I'd like to add a power switch to my leds once I get them.
  7. This may seem as a noobie question, but how did you connect the bitfenix leds to the on/off switch?
  8. Thanks for everyone's input! I appreciate your time. For my build and gaming interests, I think I will go with the LG Ultrawide. Plus, as a bonus, it will free up some desk space for me to put my stuff and PC to display it better. Also, I'll look into another SSD, Marius, thanks for the advice.
  9. Which would offer a better experience for a gamer? I also look to do some schoolwork on my PC, but it is not my main focus for this build. Would my PC be able to handle the triple monitors all running at 1080p? If you have any suggestions for a monitor, I would like 60hz or more, 1080p, thin bezels, and for the monitor to be VESA mountable. I am leaning more towards the ultra wide monitor for the lack of bezels and lower price tag, I think it will be a better experience for me. However, the triple monitor setup seems to offer an amazingly immersive experience with the massive FOV options. I am also weary of bad optimization for triple monitor setups. I am looking to run games like Modded Skyrim, Fallout, and Crysis, as well as Battlefield, CS GO, Minecraft (I don't think my build can handle this one, but we'll see how it goes), Borderlands, and newer AAA titles that release. Also, if you recommend a triple monitor setup, how would you go about hooking them all up with the graphics card I have inside of my build? Would I need to have a splitter or something to that effect? Thanks for reading and please provide your input in the replies. **Important Links** Build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/68xfbv Ultrawide Monitor: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00VBNQJSM?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_2&smid=A13BNE3P7C8THK Monitor for Triple Setup:http://shop.benq.us/monitors/27-monitors/gw2760hs.html?utm_campaign=mainsitelink&utm_source=main
  10. Alright, I have listened to the recommendations, and this is the build I created with all of your suggestions: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/NVyKrH Due to the resounding suggestion of the Sapphire R9 380, I replaced the 960 with that. Also, I replaced the motherboard with a cheaper model so I could afford an extra 1TB of HDD storage. The money saved also went into the PSU, which needed an upgrade as well. The PSU now has way more wattage, as well as a Gold efficiency certification. While I would've liked to have more RAM, I didn't feel like it was as necessary as the other upgrades, and wasn't worth the extra 40 dollars for me. Maybe down the road I will upgrade my RAM. As a last note, does anyone have a recommendation for a wireless adapter?
  11. This is my first build, and I'm going for a white/black color theme. I'm looking to use this PC for 1080p gaming on an ultra wide, specifically this model: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00VBNQJSM/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1443788544&sr=8-1π=SX200_QL40&keywords=34um67&dpPl=1&dpID=41B0yGMXoHL&ref=plSrch. The games I plan on are racing games, Skyrim(modded), Crysis, Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, and others. Finally, here is the build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/ztBZYJ Note: I know this build cannot overclock. Also the budget is ~750 dollars, going under would be great.
