  1. Ok, I liked the idea of this video but found most of it useless and impractical. The target audience was just for nobody. What I'd love to see is something more along the lines of this. A ductless Mini split (attached) in the area of a desktop (located below in the picture) and some kind of attachment affixed to the blower leading to the front vent of a desktop. Another idea in the same video would be for people who have the classic ceiling/floor grill/vent and designing some kind of rectangle end that would secure and then normal tubing that leads, again, to the intake of the PC. The image below is the closest visual to what I'm thinking it could look somewhat like, but on a much shorter scale obviously. For the Mini split it would be a fairly large mouth to properly cover it all and not have any gaps. I could go on if anyone is actually listening but for now that's the gist of it. *Edit/Added: Oh, and yes, I get that this is a bit of a different situation. I don't want the house to be freezing by over using my AC when I can direct it through my PC first instead of Alex's situation of wanting to contain the hot air and vent it outside. But why not a couple different takes on common situations for what a lot of people could find themselves in.
  2. Seriously?! The Amazon: http://geni.us/2B6u still leads to searching for HyperX Cloud 2 headphones. Please figure it out and correct this mistake. It was fine initially, but it's been like this for 4 months now. Kind of disrespectful to Logitech at this point. Also, where the heck is this review video? How much longer do we have to wait? I've been so excited for the review but am beginning to lose patience.
  3. I would totally use this as a computer for my wife to game on with me as well as have it as a entertainment PC to watch Hulu, Plex, and HBO Go on. Especially since it's so TINY I could even mount it to the back of our TV or put it on our little shelf next to our receiver. Love PC's! Thanks for the giveaway!!
  4. Thanks for another great giveaway! With enough giveaways I'm bound to eventually win
  5. All of the winners had amazing videos with lots of major editing and graphics. Mine simply had different shots that I spliced together in Windows Movie Maker and I thought mine was decent. This leads me to my question. Where/how do you learn to make such good videos? I'm out of college now and never took any kind of media classes. Did you guys learn any of this in school? What camera's and software do you guys use? How do you create these crazy cool animations and effects? One of the winners has a YouTube channel and he stepped on a monitor in the video and flew off. How do you move things around in the video? Do you have to use a green screen? I'm also interested in knowing how much time did you guys invest into making your videos?
  6. I was definitely crushed that I didn't win. The coolest part would have been winning and building a setup together with Linus. Especially since I'm moving back to America soon and I will be needing a new setup. But, it was fun making it and everything so I really do appreciate the opportunity to win. Can't wait for more opportunities. Congratulations to the winners!
  7. All of Linus's picks were clearly very good at making videos. A little disappointed that there weren't any people that maybe made a bad video but you could tell they put in some effort. I'm watching Lew's and one of his pics is a terrible video of just a guy talking and then telling us he will buy a nice new Mac if he wins the $10,000. Glad to see so far that you don't have to be good at making videos to win; BUT A MAC?!?
  8. My goodness it's been the 7th in America for 20 minutes by now and it's 4:20pm here in LG's country Korea. How much more of being the 7th does it have to be before they will announce? Jeez lol
  9. Oh boy, "love this entry but ive got to be pretty discriminating at this point & it doesnt show the current rig.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sMNjosq6fyE …" I hope mine doesn't get cut. It only shows my "rig" (a laptop) for 1 second at the end of my video. This is making me soo nervous!
  10. I only have 2 views from Canada. One on the 24th and 26th of September. So either he hasn't watched them yet this weekend like he said or he watched some much earlier as well. Avg watch time 24 seconds.
  11. The video competition is announced on the 2nd. There is an additional monitor prize chance if you guess closest number of entries in a tweet. This is separate from the entering with a video competition. That's why it says “GUESS HOW MANY?” TWEET EVENT
  12. Mine (Post #894) is funny if you count my video being poorly made (bad cut-scenes, no graphics, and poor audio) and how pathetic of a life I am currently living after giving up my sweet gaming rig for a life of no computers or games.
  13. @LinusTech wow this has a lot a great entries. I definitely wish I was better at making videos. Good luck everyone! #UltraWideFestival, #UltraWide, #DreamSetup
  14. I don't see anything about a due date. Any idea when the winner will be announced? Also, the link goes straight to a video rather than to the playlist for the little series. Thanks @nicklmg
