Thanks for the response, ill take a look at the changes soon and see if I can get them in person cheaper (hopefully). What gpu do you think I should look at getting next year? 7800xt or something? Guess I will just have to wait and see what prices are like tbh.

  2. Budget (including currency): 800-ish? For now?

    Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Competitive FPS @ 1080p, lowest settings.

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Current PC- https://pcpartpicker.com/list/JGvV34 . Don't need any peripherals. Already have a 1080p 240hz monitor (XL2546). Looking to buy in the next 2 weeks or so (flexible). Also, if any of the prices are changed, those are the prices at microcenter about an hour away from my house.

    Hello,

I am looking for opinions on some potential upgrades soon.

This is the first option I was thinking of, 7800x3d and reusing my gpu for a bit. I would like to do an matx or itx build (Don't really know much about itx) since I might be moving to a new uni soon. If I went with this option, I would buy a new gpu next summer more than likely. Figured the 7800x3d would last me a pretty long time since I only play 1080p and the lowest settings possible.

was thinking of this option as well, guess it would give me more performance right at the moment of buying. Not really sure what the better option is.

I would really like to go down to an ITX case, but I don't really know much about them. From what I could tell it seems like its a bit more expensive. I could maybe spend up to $1200, but I need to get afew other things and would prefer to keep costs lower.

Appreciate any help/advice. Hopefully It is an ok post,

    <3

I have this one its quite good. Out of the box is garbage, so you will need to find a good color profile on the internet and use it.

Sweet, Ty <3. Ill probably get this one then. All the others ive seen around this price seem to have alot of issues.

  4. Rainbow Six Siege is honestly a great game, They give out free content (you do have to grind a bit, and season pass owners get them a week early) like new Operators/Weapons, skins, maps. I recommend it

Rocket league is still better than R6S

    • Don't get 7th gen Intel, it doesn't make sense.
    • That's a rather expensive cooler for something that doesn't need aftermarket cooling.
    • You don't need a Z series board unless you need features specific to that board.
    • I'd shell out more money for a board with built in AC WiFi and ditch the add in card.

I like the case. It looks pretty sick in white. If that's what you want to go for, don't worry about the cost. Some people don't understand spending money on aesthetics.

Errr why on earth would you recommend a 7600k. Such a bad choice.

I mean, I just recommended it because it was close to what he already had tbh. :/

  6. I used AutoCAD for afew years in highschool and really loved it and wanted it or something similar to use at home, But I dont have the money for auto cad right now. I found out about ProgeCAD from reddit but havent been able to find a good review or video on it. Anyone have experience with it, how does it compare to auto cad? Im really hoping its good since its about a third of the price of autocad. Im not able to try the free trial because the rest of the parts of my pc are not here yet. If my pc is relevant, i have a 980ti, 16gb of ram, and a 7600k.
