  1. I have a 120GB SSD which is being pushed for space, however I have no money to upgrade being a kid, and my GT730 needs to be upgraded before I even look at the SSD. I believe everyone should be booting off an SSD because of the significant performance gains to be had from it. I have experienced this with our family computer where it was running really slowly so to give it a performance boost we put a 240GB SSD into it and now it is still going at a reasonable speed despite being a mac from 2011.
  2. I think this is an awesome pc, consider it is around 16 times smaller than my current PC, but is a lot more powerful. I just think it is amazing the way so much power is squashed into such a small space.
  3. I can understand asking people to fill in a survey, but this is a tech website. Therefore content should really be tech related.
  4. All you have to do is make sure you don't format your current hdd, or back up all your files you want to keep before switching.
  5. I think the wood finish on the headset make them look awesome, and the best. Thanks for getting this great competition and for doing what you do.
  6. It depends what you mean by best. best for air flow, best air pressure best for noise or the best all rounder I find if you can keep the arctic f12 under 1000 rpm they are quiet and push a decent amount of air.
  7. Those temps are fine, just try to keep it under 70.
  8. But would I get better performance from a R7 370, R9 270X or a GTX 950?
  9. What about using a MSI R7 370 4GB http://www.newegg.com/global/uk/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127884 Thanks
  10. Hi Guys, Just wondering, I am currently using a AMD FX-6300 with a Nvidia GT 730. I am looking to upgrade my graphics card for around £100 and so far I was looking at a NVidia GTX 950. One thing I though is would I get better performance from an AMD R9 270X card in this price range because then it would be AMD with an AMD Processor, or is the GTX 950 going to have any compatibility problems in an AMD system. Thanks Guys
  11. Thanks Guys Probably going to get this one then: http://www.newegg.com/global/uk/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127904 MSI GTX 950
  12. Thanks to all of you for such a quick response. So do I go with a GTX 950 or a R9 270? And which model of the card?
  13. Hi Guys, I am looking for a new graphics card for around £100 and I am not sure what to get. I am currently considering the Asus GTX 750 ti. At the moment I have a NVidia GT 730 2GB GDDR5, and I want something that can deliver more performance but still be quiet and cool, I have found my current card never gets above 45 degrees C and my fan speed is constantly 30% . I mostly play racing games, but I would like to be able to play a variety of modern games at very good settings at very good FPS. My current system includes: AMD FX6300 at standard clock + turbo boost (4.2GHz max) Asus M5A78L-M-USB3 8GB Crucial Ballistic Ram A CX750 Watt Corsair PSU Also, if there are any other recommendations of fairly cheap parts to upgrade, but that would have a significant system improvement that would be great. Thanks
