  1. Thank you very much! I do have a graphic card I am going to use. Thank you very much for the detailed answer! I do have graphic card and PSU which is only year and half old.
  2. Any thoughts about the Motherboards, stability and overclocking? I am relay happy with my current Gigabyte which is one reason for me picking those motherboards. As well read good reviews for those VRM's.
  3. Hello, I'am looking for a computer upgrade and started to look for my options. I build two different systems one with Intel CPU and the other with AMD. I am using Intel CPU's for the past 20 years now and really fixate on them. The system is design to support general use, editing, coding. Nothing to heavy or games. The two system cost came to a $17 difference. So money is not much of a factor in this decision. Obviously what most concern me is the CPU&Motherboard combination on both systems, which one will give me more stability with overclocking and. 4. As long as it stable with no C state, there is really other reason why not to OC with it? And would it explain why with C1E it would be unstable? Or is it just C states not stable in general. I should mention that when it crashes with the C1E - it just restart the computer, no blue screen or anything, might point to PSU problem.
  5. I just want it to not always run on full 4.5Ghz and full 1.250V, so the C1E looks like a good idea, it is probably more cooling issue than C state. Thanks.
  6. Just tried to enable only the C1E mode, more stable so far.

  8. Hello, I have been trying to stabilize my OC in the past few weeks and there is some issues, would like to have so different opinion about it. Computer is: I5-4690K OC to 4.5Ghz with 1.250V Gigabyte Z97x gaming 7 Gigabyte Gtx 1060 The CPU on idle is around 42-46 c After AIDA64 for few hours average around 75 and max 82. I'm happy with the temperature on max load as AIDA64 really not simulating real-world temp, with day to day work (editing, browsing, gaming) it is maximum average around 65c. When I try to enable C3 and C1E, the OC is not stable anymore, even with additional Voltage, with C states disabled there is no problem at all to work fluently. Any suggestion why? Thanks.
  9. Hi, Just wanted to make sure before delidding, I'm going to use CONDUCTONAUT (thermal grizzly) for the DIE. When placing the CPU back in place, is there any difference if I will apply NT-H1 for the IHS? (CPU cooler) Hope I made my question understandable Thanks.
  10. The 2i2 receive signal and the gain knob set as required, it records perfectly on PC with windows. It is something with audition.
  11. Hi, I was trying to record with my 2i2 in adobe audition, over the PC the equipment works well with no problem. Over the MacBook, it is not working properly. Any idea?
  12. Do you have any suggestion other than just saying I won't be able to do it?
  13. @mxk. Hi, I want to buy good CPU that would serve me more than few years, with most of the others CPU they become irrelevant in 2 years. With editing it is even harder, the cameras those days are improving quickly.
