I'll remember to tell the next Ferrari driver that he should stick to F1 tracks... But I guess he won't listen, he just enjoys the ride. Silly bugger -
We could always use a couple of empty VB cans attached by an old garden hose leading to the fridge Ahhh... It's late
-
Sounds good... Any details? I've never come across them down under & always like to explore new options.

Yeah, go fractal. I couldn't even tell my new system was running. Whisper quiet. But I agree we've all gone fan mad... There is a limit even I can't stick too

So I just finished a fresh install with the Samsung 950 Pro 256GB - Windows 10 Home. Dam it's fast... No issues whatsoever with it running as a boot drive... But the boot time it a touch slow, tap, tap, tap awaiting a better bios update.

I swapped to this one... From sore back to confort over hours of use. About $250 AUD. Adjustable in every possible way & super solid. 2 years in it's good as new. http://buroseating.com/product/buro-metro-ii-247/ I'd recommend a approved "task chair" over a "good looking" gaming chair any day. Anyhow my gaming must be improved if I'm so comfy in it.

Wouldn't worry about it... If they can't see a kick arse drive then let 'em hug their narrow view specific specs. It's an awesome drive - don't know why people have the need to knock good gear. Thermal throttling? Like yea, i render 4K video while playing crysis - dam the 950 for not meeting my needs

Again guys - missing things When gaming GPU uses more power. If it's happening whist gaming the heats dissipated by the gpu or PSU. What PSU/GPU are you running? Back to my original gut feeling... PSU issue. Thought... If the gpu is asking for more power, and the PSU is not supplying efficiently or on its way out... Heat & fan noise

Umm, maybe sequential read & write are only part of the picture - depends on how your using it maybe?

Fractal Design Venturi PWM 140mm all the way. Best stats second only to noctua. Great FDB as well & ultra quiet.
