lol wow it's been a while since there's been a rant this heavy
only 2 minutes in and I already love it

Agreed... it was straight fire coming from Linus's mouth and you could see the steam rolling out behind the ears. I do agree that its a bad tactic on intels part.. They know they will get there asses handed to them later.. hell, most of the benchmarks showed the older 9980xe beating the 10980xe.

Yeah, frankly Intel is a complete joke and a failure at this point and this is the first time I've felt that fully captured and portrayed in video. I'd liken it to back when AMD's best was the laughing stock that was FX, but at least in that case it was mainstream vs mainstream. Not only does this new chip of theirs lose to the previous version, but this is their best of the best and it's being beaten by AMD's mainstream Can't wait for those threadripper bars to unblur in a few hours so everyone can see what a real high-end desktop looks like.

Agreed. Intel is in for a world of hurt later today. Whats even better is that Linus even acknowledged that the reason intel did this was so it didnt have comparison numbers in YT reviews of the product launch compared to the new chips from AMD to help boost day 1 sales.. even though its getting beat by its predecessor and mainstream team red chips... Intel is definitely in a VERY VERY bad spot.

@VegetableStu Linus' video had the new ThreadRipper scores as well, except they were blurred.

AMD: *laughs in Threadripper 3000

And here's that for anyone interested (I'd assume all of you).
Keep in mind this isn't even their flagships yet, only the 24 and 32 core, which we already had from last gen. Despite that however these have made huge improvements to the point where it might be worth upgrading for anyone who uses them.
Can't wait for the 64 core though
