Have you ever noticed those forums/help threads where someone will ask a question, some mod or other "high up" person will offer a solution, mark it as solved, and move on thinking/declaring it's done, but then the conversation continues, usually first with a reply by OP saying that didn't work, then a few other people saying they have the same issue, and then it never actually gets answered? xD so useless... why do they even bother?

    Really, just google for any obscure problem and you'll find other forums where this kind of behaviour is pretty common.  I just don't get it

    Yeah - I've seen that before. And many of those forums don't even allow PM, so there's no way to fix the issue if the thread gets closed :(
