Took me 4050 posts to finally get a warning

5,734 over here and still going strong.
I sorta realized after 1-2k posts that insulting people is kinda pointless. I just crush people with facts and then enjoy the feeling of being more mature and being right .
It is a thing I've noticed though, it's a lot easier to insult someone over the internet than IRL.

@Dan CastellanetaSomeone with a very high post count on this forum basically said something like "that explains a lot" when I mentioned I was 14 and we were in an argument. Kinda sad, since I checked their profile and it said they're a proud father .
Was gonna ask them if they would've said that to their son but never did. It just saddens me when I see people being so insulting and mean on the internet

@silentprototipeLooks like it's this post, seems mods cleaned it up a bit but you can still tell

@Dan CastellanetaYeah, and while it is true that generally the lower your age the less mature you are, it's not 100% a rule and there are adults out there that I would consider less mature than me, especially online (IRL I act very immature a lot of the time but I tend to be more mature online).
Just annoys me when people use that as an insult, since it really shouldn't be. Except for those 10 year old minecraft squeakers /s

@L.LawlietYeah it's probably my guess.
The thing is, I don't think the kid is completely spoiled. Though maybe half spoiled.
At the same time though, you have to realize that if a kid is spoiled it's not completely their fault. It's also the parents. In fact, I'd say it's 95% the parent's fault. There are a handful of kids that get spoiled by their parents but still aren't spoiled brats, but they're extremely rare. In reality, most spoiled kids probably would've been fine if they hadn't had parents that spoiled them.
Personally for me, I'd never spend $5800 of someone else's money on something like a pc. I plan on doing a beastly custom water cooled pc someday, but that's probably 15 years in the future once I have a steady income. That might have to do with me being brought up in a family that is very frugal, even though we're considered middle upper class.
