Im about to fucking kill this microsoft support rep. He's legit a retard. I had this same question months ago and I had the best support person ever, very kind, chatty, and made me feel amazing. Now this dumb bitch doesn't have the answer, links me to blank pages, and keeps sending me to pages with OFFICE 2013! I EXPLICITLY SAID OFFICE 2010!

Why don't you upgrade to Office 365?

I hate it, and it's $200. I love 2010, have 3 keys for it, and can't access them now because MS deleted the site that I could log into using my MS account and get all my 2010 keys because I had 3

What's wrong with it? It's only $70 per year for an individual or $100 per year for multiple users.

Seriously. Be happy you can still use Office 2010.

I hate the design of it, the UI, and the price. I dont use it enough to justify $100 a year

Im just mad that they wont give it to me!

Sounds like you should've saved the keys somewhere in a text file, or written them down, etc. I mean I understand having frustrating support experiences, but if you had the keys then you probably should've saved them somewhere. Best course of action might be to call back or chat again and request someone else.

Well then use Office Online. It's free and has less features than Office 365.

I found the GUI of Office 2010 to be disgusting and 2013 was kinda ok but 2016 was the best.

The thing is, I have Office 2010 on my desktop and laptop my mom just needs it now because I told her I have a copy that she could use because I have always been able to download off that website!

@AluminiumTech I think 365 is extremely stupid, but then again I hate most subscription licensing models, including Vessel and Youtube Red.

Netflix, Spotify, and Google Play Music Unlimited are all tolerable for various reasons but maybe that's because I have a Netflix subscription, and would consider a Spotify or Play Music Unlimited subscription if I had the money for them. I have a harder time justifying Youtube Red or Vessel.

But my school (and School district) uses Google Drive, and I use Google Drive personally. To be frank, it does the same job and has as far as I'm aware most of or all of the functions of Office. Hell Google Drive allows you to download your stuff as a .docx file, though Libreoffice does the same thing. But the UI of LibreOffice seems pretty cluttered.

Oh I just noticed that the Google Play Music subscription comes with Youtube Red... Well then, that's noice. So then it's just Vessel I can't really justify.

What about Google Drive? Those have offline modes with Chrome.
