@Clanscorpia I gave up on RX 480 and called it like 8 hours before release. I knew it wouldn't be what people expected.

AND I will be buying Fury X v2

Looks like I'll be buying the Fury X2 unless someone trades... So I'm hopping on this bandwagon.

AMD told us what they were bringing to market, we got what they told us. I can't complain too much but that being the good thing.

It's not a great 1440p card, but for sure it is a great 1080p card.

Well the 60fps wouldn't be a for sure thing though. Yeah in most games it'll probably average 60fps but it seems like that's sometimes a stretch. When aftermarket cards come, and we see the overclocked performance with hopefully better drivers. Then it might be a more influencing decision. But let's just say these early reviews spark some hope for it to be a little better. But I think if I can ultimately afford it, the GTX 1070 will be the better buy for 1440p. Considering AMD only intended the RX 480 for resolutions at or below 1920x1080. I'm still hoping maybe XFX has something that looks nice with a 6+6 or 8 pin power connector because the 480 Nitro and 480 Strix are kinda auxiliary options but I think I would go for the Nitro 480 first even though it features the râpe à fromage noir (or for a more literal translation: râpe à fromage en noir)
