the ram is fine I haven't changed it in about a year but I'll test the gpu

Over the last few days my custom PC has started spontaneously cutting out and restarting while gaming. The power supply is a fractal design newton r2 800 watt so it should have more than enough power. I've had it for 3 years. Also Theres no cooling issues with the CPU I can provide any other details if needed Thanks in advance.

Okay so this is my first time using a forum but here goes.. i have 2 Radeon 6870s in crossfire in 16x/4x config The problem is that the card in the 4x slot is recognised as gpu-1 or the master and the one in the 16x slot is the slave. the card in the 16x slot is also running much hotter even though it has more room. My question is does this strange configuration affect performance and can I fix it ? also why is the gpu-2 running hotter ? thanks for any replies in advance
