Im using windows 7, and will propably up/downgrade to windows 10 later this year. It will be used for movies and games, but only watched movies and the games are just there so i dont need to redownload them every time i reformat my ssd. Ill check out bitlocker, but if there is something better, ill rather use that

My thoughts on the PF1000U projector are that it would be great to have one.

I have 2 SSD's and one HDD in my system, the SSD's are used for boot and "fast storage" and the HDD is used for backup storage/slow storage. I want to encrypt the HDD, so that when im done watching a movie, i drag it over to the HDD and store it. Im also doing this to store games so i wont have to download them every time i format. My problem is finding a good encryption software, because i literally know nothing about it, never used any software like that. Hope this is in the right sub forum, anyway, thanks

Im not sure if this is the right forum section, but i just got a Rockit Cool 88 delid tool in the mail, and delidded my 4670k. I have a h100i and was wondering if the h100i is compatible if i dont mount the heatspreader, so that the h100i has direct contact with the cpu die. Also, does overclocking settings reset when dismounting and mounting the cpu? I had mine at 4.2ghz and now its at stock. If anyone is wondering about my temps, i forgot to stress test my cpu before delidding, and i dont remember the temps i got when overclocking it to 4.2ghz 2 years ago. But my temps were between 69-81 degrees C, so i propably did something wrong...

Just because of this generations cards names, i really think they should have released the 1080 as the 1080ti, and the 1070 as the 1080. That way I could buy a gtx 1080 with 1920 cuda cores....

Well, i got it for free at least, and before i installed never10 i got the windows 10 icon, so i can downgrade to windows 10, for free, if i want to.

When Windows 10 is free its because we are the product. Thats fine if you know what to turn off to minimize what gets sent back to MS, but when they force their shitty products like bing and edge down our throats if we want to use cortana, thats it for me. There is a reason i upgraded to windows 7.
