  1. So wait why are you upgrading your networking cables? I might be confused I thought the issue was the TV's optical audio out?
  2. Ahmed what you're asking for doesn't really exist. More expensive headphones are what I will call "audiophile grade". Audiophiles don't like massive skull shattering amounts of bass. People pay more for headphones to have a very flat frequency response. What that means is not a lot of bass not a lot of treble very accurate and no coloration to the sound. You don't need to spend $1000 you just need to go buy Beats Pro or Sony MDR-XB950N1's. If people spent $1000 on headphones and they were super bassy they would be pissed.
  3. I know US companies kinda suck to deal with in Canada but consider something off of DROP.com. Not just because they are constantly sponsoring LTT videos but because their value is usually MEGA. https://drop.com/audiophile/drops
  4. Joey the JBL's they recommend are considered to be incredibly good value. However there a ton of great value Edifier speakers too. Consider going up in the Edifier range really cant go wrong.
  5. or people really like these as well. https://www.amazon.com/1MORE-Earphones-Headphones-Resolution-Smartphones/dp/B01A7G35S0/ref=sr_1_1?crid=1G7MMKBKMZMDA&dchild=1&keywords=1more+triple+driver&qid=1585515293&sprefix=1more+%2Caps%2C221&sr=8-1
  6. I like Shure SE215's if you like fun sounding headphones with a little extra bass. https://www.shure.com/en-US/products/earphones/se215

    DAC/AMP combo

    Very very highly reviewed https://www.schiit.com/products/asgard
  8. The HD650's will never be bassy I can promise you that, not because they aren't capable but rather they were designed to be accurate.Any product from Schiit audio will do you well. No need to spend more then you need to. https://www.schiit.com/products/asgard Adding power doesn't necessarily add low frequency extension.

    Case fans?

two 120's will be fine adding an additional 120 or 140 at the front wouldn't hurt. Doesn't have to be expensive. https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/4GsKHx/be-quiet-case-fan-bl047 or even https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/GFPKHx/arctic-f14-silent-460-cfm-140mm-fan-acfan00076a.
  10. just posted this in the folding chat but both my GPU and CPU have been pinned at nearly 100% over night . "computer has been folding over night cooling a 6800K @ 4.0ghz and a Radeon 5700XT (stock) temps have reached about 60C with a 280MM BlackIce GTS Stealth at about 60% fan speed (NF-A140s) d5 pump" if that gives you any idea. Two 420s would be plenty! Why two loops if i may ask?

  12. What about just using an audio quest dragonfly?
  13. I have a Optima UHD50 which is a 4K TI DLP chip projector I think it looks pretty awesome. Definitely has more then 25-50 hours on it and it definitely isn’t dim. I think I’m around the 650hr mark. That being said projectors benefit from quite darks rooms. Everyone who I show my theatre to loves it and claim they want to build their own. Only suggestion when building a your theatre consider building a shroud around the projector to limit fan noise. A tv at comparable cost might look better but it certainly won’t have the impact of a projector in a properly set up room. I have an acoustically transparent screen and have my 18” and LCR speakers shooting through the screen just like in a movie theatre.
  14. https://store.antennasdirect.com/DB8e-Ultra-Long-Range-Outdoor-DTV-Antenna.html Just get the antenna that looks most like you are trying to communicate with aliens. The bigger the better.
  15. My over the air cable tv knowledge is pretty limited. I’d go with a passive splitter first especially if you are already changing antennas. Keep it cheap. If passive doesn’t work consider returning for powered splitter or adding a pre. Also if you can move the antenna to get better signal strength do that. I would imagine signal strength on the exterior of the building would be best.
