I am doing a rebuild of the Thermaltake P5. I am going with a green Black and white theme.
The white may seem a bit cream but it is white coated with Fluorescent, so when the time is dark all white areas glows green.
To the right I am inserting an alphacool graphical lcd-display 240x128 pixel blue negative, you can see what its does below.
The specification stays the same.

BudgetForNow reacted to Omon_Ra in H100i Thermal Past question
That seems a bit warm, but depending on your ambient room temperature, it's not that concerning. A month is not that long for it to be losing effectiveness. It could be that you didn't seat the waterblock to the CPU quite tight enough, but I really doubt it's due to the thermal paste. You said it's gotten warmer where you live; how much warmer? Go ahead and swap the paste if you feel the need to. 90%+ isopropyl alcohol and coffee filters is easiest for removing the old junk. But just keep in mind, your cooling efficiency is directly related to the ambient temperature. Also, if you're changing the paste you should probably dust out and clean the fans, rad and any filters in your system while you're at it.

Welcome to capitalism. Where businesses charge as much as they can, and maintain enough customers to turn the biggest profit possible.

BudgetForNow reacted to Adreyu in High Resolution Gaming or High In-Game Specs
I say you dial it back a little from 4k and go 1440p. Its gorgeous and 980ti and run pretty much everything (badly optimized games maybe need some tweaking) at max over 60fps. I went from 1080p to 1440 and i love it. I don't think the 4k scene is there yet though. just imagine the fact that the 980 ti already has a hard time maintaining 60 fps at 4k then think of the games and their requirements that will come out when the 1000 series does. gaming requirements are only going to get higher.

BudgetForNow reacted to spartaman64 in Spotify music quality difference?
higher = better and how much of a difference it makes depends on the listener and their audio equipment you are going to have to experiment for yourself and see if it makes enough of a difference for you
