Hi Im going to buy a gtx 1060 6gb but my question is can I plug the 1060 with a PCI-E cable (8+8) into the 1060(8 pin) and if theres any problem if I leave some pins unconnected like reduced power from the Psu. Im still quite new to this so dont be too harsh on me and Im also sorry for my poor english.

Thank you for the fast replies And yes its ddr3 ram, I forgot to mention but its not hard to figure it out given the ram speed. As for the heatsink Im going to clean it along with the rest of the computer, I didnt do it already because I also ordered a new gpu, since it arrives tomorrow im gonna take out the old one, clean all the components and install the ram and the new gpu. -
So I built this pc 4 years ago and now I want to upgrade some parts but I want to do It myself because its cheaper and I also want to learn more about building and upgrading on my own. Im going to upgrade my ram wich is currently 2x4gb 1600mhz CL9 but my question is can I add 2 more "pieces"( sorry I dont know the exact word) of 4gb ram each or i have to buy 2 of 8gb each. In the file theres a photo of the ram slots but I heard u have to leave 1 space in between because its more efficient and because of dual or single channel, like i said im new and I dont know about ram installation very well. Also sorry for my english, its not my mother tongue.

Hey eveyone I got a decent build ( was good 4 years ago) and I mostly play online games , some competitive and some for fun so this summer i decided its time to upgrade, my build is as follow: I Have an i5 4690k 3.50GHZ, 8GB ddr3 ram , cm b700 ver.2 power supply , a r9 200series 3gb and a msi z97 motherboard. The new forza horizon is coming out in a couple of months along with a lot of other games Id like to play with good perfor. About the upgrades I was thinking about adding 8GB ram , changing my board, i dont know if I need to upgrade my cpu or my power supply. About the graphic cards I was thinking of a 1060 6gb or a 1070ti because the 1070 its not really worth imo because its only a bit cheaper than the ti. Whats you opinion and sorry for my bad english its not my native language.

So my motherboard is a msi h97 gaming 3 and I want to upgrade my pc and buy a 1070 or even a 1080 but i dont know if my motherboard will support any of those graphics card. Also my power supply is a b700 ver.2 do I need to change the power supply as well?

Hi i need a new mouse, i mainly play competitive fps and my hands are 19 cm long and 9 cm wide. The mice that i have in mind are DA chroma and the zowie ec2-a but i dont know if the ec2a its going ro be small for my hand size.I value performance over featured thats why i looked into zowie mice.

I need to buy a new phone but i cant decide between s7 edge or iphone 6s so I went to a local carrier and played around with both and honestly i dont like the s7 edge manily because its too big. It might sound stupid but i like to hold my phones with 1 hand only and the iphone 6s has a nice hold.I dont know if its still worth to buy the 6s and I dont know how IOS works because i have only used android so far so i asked a few people what they think. The ones that had iphones said that once I get used to IOS its better than android, other said that Iphones are restrict in music for example. I dont know what phone to buy but i would like to hear your opinion.

I wouldnt go for microsoft because its so random.Ive had some microsoft mice and 2 things will happen: the mouse will last more than 3 years working perfectly or it will give you problems after some months. Personally between mx performance and mx master i would go for the master because there isnt much difference in price. But at the end of the day the final decision is yours, choose the one that appeals you or your mum the most

Those are good options but being more expensive doesnt mean it will last longer.First u need to know how much are u willing to pay because the best wireless non gaming is logitech Mx Master i have one myself and its amazing in all aspects his only con its the price. If you are not willing to give so much money for it go for the logotech marathon m500/m705 because most of the times gaming mice are not that good on everyday tasks, they excel at gaming nothng else and i say this because i have one myself(logotech g502) Good luck to any mouse you choose

I want to buy a new smartphone but i cant deicde between htc m10 samsung s7/Edge and LG G5. I doubt htc will bring anything good to the table but i cant decide if i take g5 or s7. Performance wise they are almost equal but s7 has waterproof and g5 has replaceable battery, i heard that G5 can change something along with the battery but i didnt yet find what it is or how it works.

I need to buy a new phone after almost 3years with an old LG. My first thought was s7/s7 edge but after some research i found that htc m10 and iphone 7 are still to be released and i dont know if they are worth waitng or not. Also i never used ios that much and id like to know what are the strenghts and weaknesses that ios has over the android.

So i want to buy a new smartphone amd im thorn between S7 edge and iphone 6s. I mostly text, watch movies and play games with my phone so the obvious answer is s7 edge i thought. But today i read that ios has more lifetime that android, this meaning that android stops receiving updates while ios keeps updating during more time.What do you think?
