  1. Making progress. Leaving just 1 ram stick in gave this result.
  2. Took the GPU off and booted it and NOTHING. No beeps no post.
  3. The screen literally does nothing when the computer turns on. Look at vid to see computer IMG_0647.MOV P.S The GPU flickers once in a while.
  4. Ok so now the blue light on the front button won't even come on when I connect it. I've done absolutely nothing to it since I posted this and like I said in original post I've done nothing to it since last time it worked. It just said the unconnected and unplugged. When I plug it in now I just hear this rhythmic clicking sound. No humming, no spinning.
  5. Well the manual says it's only compatible with those OS. And the blue light in the front comes on like it's still alive. You think it just died sitting there disconnected? Last time I connected it (god knows how long ago and which computer it was) it worked fine.
  6. WD My Book Premium Edition. 500GB No it doesn't show up at all. Not sure what the file system is.
  7. So I have this older drive that has all the older videos and pics like my kids' birth, when they where small, etc...I plug it in to look at some vids and it's not working. Upon investigation I realize it's only compatible with Win 2000/XP/Vista. Well...I aint got any of those systems anymore. Is my only option to find a computer with that OS (if they even exist anymore???) I definitely don't want to lose any of that stuff on there.
  8. Turns out the wired setup doesn’t work all the time either. It’s pretty sporadic. When I plug in my iPad to sync it, the mouse arrow freezes up. When I unplugged it it started working again. But now it won’t work either way. And it won’t recognize the iPad either. Could it be the whole USB system?
  9. That’s weird. The wired setup works. Why would the wireless work in bios and other menus but not work once Windows boots up? What’s the fix?
  10. Well this never happened before. I boot up my PC and the wireless mouse and keyboard will not work. When I press del to enter the BIOS they both work. When the menu to boot in safe mode comes up, the keyboard works. But when win boots up and I get the Users menu, I get the mouse arrow in the middle of the screen and it will not work. The keyboard doesn’t seem to work either. This is also the case when I boot in safe mode. So whata heck is going on? How do I even begin to troubleshoot this?
  11. It's a 256gb ssd and it tells me used space is 238gb and free space is 52mb. I don't have anything on there besides OS, programs and whatever is on the desktop which is not much. The only folders with significant data is: Program Files which 33.4 gb, Program Files (x86) which is 5.99 gb, Scratch at 1.37 gb, Users at 128 gb and Windows at 26.6 gb. Inside Users I have 4 folders: DefaultAppPool, Public and 2 user names folders. The only folder in there with significant data is mine which is 128 gb. Inside mine there are 15 folders. The only ones with significant data is Desktop which has 4.82 gb and MyDocuments which is 1.3 gb. Now that adds up to 6.12 gb. Where the heck is the rest of 120+ gb??? It's not showing up anywhere.
