  1. Alright thank you, I just wanted to confirm this with someone/people that are more knowledgable about parts, since I tend to be very cautious when making purchases, especially when it comes to my first set of computer upgrades, I don't want to have to return or exchange anything after it is all said and done.
  2. According to Cooler Master's website the max CPU cooler height would be 175mm, and moving the fan to the top would make the cooler about 108mm if the diagram is accurate and if my calculations are correct.
  3. Well I checked my RAM, and i'm now a bit doubtful on if there would be enough clearance for this cooler, but if i'm correct wouldn't it be possible to put the fan on the top to allow for more space at the bottom of the cooler? I just wanna make sure everything will fit properly before finalizing any decisions.
  4. Alright thanks, i'll check how tall my RAM is and refer to the image when I get home from work to make sure it'll fit before ordering the cooler.
  5. Hi, I am looking at upgrading my build, and one of the things i'm finally getting around to is replacing the CPU cooler that came with the CPU, and I do have one in mind, the Silverstone NT06-Pro, but i'm worried if i'd have enough clearance between the Motherboard itself and the RAM, as I plan on getting two more sticks, filling up each RAM slot. Although i'm fairly sure it would fit inside the case itself with little issue, feel free to correct me if i'm wrong though. I'm also open to suggestions as nothing is final, and i'm still fairly fresh when it comes to picking parts, but I am quite insistant on sticking with air cooling instead of switching to water cooling as I don't want to risk leaks. The CPU I have is an Athlon X4 860K if that's relevant, which I imagine it is. Thanks in advance for any help and advice regarding this.
  6. I currently have a 120GB SSD in my system, so an upgrade would most definitely be nice. As for why everyone should use one, I die a little every time I boot up my laptop which runs on a HDD, sometimes even thinking it's broken due to how slowly it takes to boot up.
  7. Well i'm not there with him, talking to him on skype, but he can use the computer just fine, but when he tries to load up a game, it will not load. Getting him to try installing new drivers for it.
  8. Yeah that's what I meant, as I said, I'm new to this so sorry for any confusing, didn't know there was a difference.
  9. Hi, I have a friend who is having issues with using the on-board GPU cores on the AMD A10-7850K processor while using the ASRock FM2A88X PRO3+ ATX FM2+ Motherboard. I was wondering if there is anyone that can help with this since I plan on going with a very similar build very soon, and would like some support for games with my initial build until I can afford to get a dedicated graphics card, and my friend would also like something to fall back on until his graphics card arrives in the mail. So my main questions are: Is there anyway of actually getting the motherboard to use the on-board GPU cores? And if so, how would one going about doing so? We have tried going into the UEFI setup utility and nothing. Thanks in advance for any help that any of you can provide. P.S. Both me and my friend are new at custom PC builds, so I apologize in advance if anything I said was worded incorrectly, was confusing, or just plain sounds dumb.
