  1. Keeping your math accurate so as to not confuse the people you're trying to help, do you know what that is? You gave a completely erroneous calculation for the resolution demanded by the Quest 1 as a basis for picking a GPU to use with it. The error was so large that it resulted in the idea that you need a GPU capable of 2800x3200@75Hz to drive it when what the user actually needs is a GPU capable of 2800x1600@75Hz. That's a huge jump and, contrary to being helpful, would result in anyone using your math as guidance purchasing a GPU that is far more powerful (and, more importantly, far more expensive) than they require.
  2. My brother in Christ, you literally stated that adding the total resolution of two 4K (3840 x 2160 = 8,294,400) displays is equal to the resolution of a single 8K (7680 x 4320 = 33,177,600) display. I might not be the best at math, but if we double the pixel count of 4K, we get 16,588,800, which is exactly half of the 33,177,600 pixels in 8K. What the hell does "multiplying their horizontal and vertical resolution and only doubling one of it" supposed to mean? If you're only doubling one dimension, then you're certainly not multiplying the other dimension by anything. Nope, you're not getting away with claiming that your original post was a typo. You clearly stated that 4K + 4K is equal to 8K.
  3. That's perfect. So what you're going to need to do is go here: https://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/B450M-HDV R4.0/#BIOS and download the V4.10 BIOS. Then, go to https://www.asrock.com/support/BIOSIG.asp?cat=BIOS10 and follow the instructions to update the BIOS. You will need a FAT32-formatted USB drive to place the BIOS file on to update from the UEFI interface, as denoted in the instructions and as @Sarra pointed out.
  4. According to ASRock's own website for the B450M-HDV R4.0, it supports Ryzen 5000 series CPUs with a BIOS update. Since your original post wasn't clear, do you already have the board in your possession and inside an already working system or not?
  5. I have a Ryzen 5 2600 at stock speed and voltages with an ASRock B450M Pro4 motherboard, and G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3600 (PC4 28800) F4-3600C19D-16GVRB. The stock timings for this RAM set are 19-20-20-40. Without fiddling with any voltages or timings, I can only run this set at a maximum of 2800 MHz. The XMP profile for 3600 MHz does not work right. How should I go about adjusting voltages and timing so I can get to at least 3200?

Umm, you do realize that these are biased opinion articles, right? (Especially the second one, which just seems to be the typical hit piece; this happens all the goddamn time) The second one claims that Ted's statement about vilification is wrong, when it is actually referring to something different. The same Obama who "condemns" violence against our men and women in blue is the same Obama who openly praises Black Lives Matter, you know, the same group that SUPPORTS law enforcement violence. That's what Ted is referring to. Also, Christians believe that being openly gay (as in banging, yes, banging with people of the same gender) is a sin, and that the Left is trying to impose a contradicting belief on us, and that's what Ted is trying to prevent: the infringement of the 1st Amendment as it was meant to be interpreted (although that pastor is pretty weird; the death penalty? Seriously? ).

Umm, everyone says that it's a democracy (it kinda stuck after a while, so yeah... though we agree, 'kay?) and besides, it's not like he's imposing Christianity on everyone, far from it. It's just a show of trust in God, something much appreciated by many, scorned by others. But it's very effective among faith-based voters. And I likes it. Also, racist homophobe? Please elaborate.

Another thing that makes Rafael (Ted) dangerous, is he knows how to get shit done. He's a senator, unlike Donald, so he knows the ins and outs and shit.

  13. Hey guys! Been a while, hasn't it? I've been really busy roaming and roleplaying on MLPForums.com doing interesting stuff and whatnot. How are my friends doing, might I ask?

  14. OMG I flipped out when I read the first lines. I was like "Great Celestia, these temps defy logic (and not in a good way, either)!" You don't know how relieved I felt when I saw the edit. Nice job bro! Now, we all await the 3DMark Fire Strike and Cinebench scores.

Care to explain what an "overhall" means? As far as I'm concerned, I thought it was spelled "overhaul".
  16. That feeling when MLP Forums and Poniverse are down, but Equestria.tv is perfectly fine, even though they're at the same server. Does this make any sense?

@Afeyung Was "ponying up" a reference to MLP? Because that term is used A LOT in the Equestria Girls movies!
  18. A few days ago, my parents asked me why my old Sony VAIO was always on. I explained what Folding@Home was, and they flipped out. At first, they thought it was a scam, and it wasn't actually from the University of Stanford (my dad said we could be criminally investigated for that comp power). Then, they investigated and found out that it wasn't a scam, but they had no evidence that they were actually using our computing power for protein folding, and nothing else. So, my question is, what actually has been accomplished by Folding@Home, and what proof do we have that our computers are actually running protein folding simulations, and not doing something else (secret military development, New World Order, Illuminati, etc.)? EDIT: Please don't say that my parents are lunatics, overprotective, conspiracy theorists, etc. That's not it at all
