  1. That's the issue, I don't have another DDR4 PC but I'll deffo get them RMA'd
  2. Yeah, I'm a little baffled as to how or why, because I've been using my PC daily for 16 Hours a day since August. Right in the middle of a match on CoD as well. Like how random is that? No warning signs or anything. I have issues with RAM a long while back, but I had warning signs. So do you reckon it's 100% RAM or is it possible the CPU could have died in some way, to bear in mind I am typing on it now?
  3. PC Specs: MSI MPG X570 GAMING PRO CARBON WIFI Motherboard Ryzen 7 3700x cooled with Noctua NH D15 Corsair CMK32GX4M2D3200C16 Vengeance LPX 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4 3200 MHz C16 XMP Zotac GTX 1070 Mini Corsair RM850x 80 PLUS Gold, 850 Watts, Fully Modular ATX Power Supply Unit So I was in the middle of a Match on Call of Duty Warzone and my PC just crashed, no BSOD, no Black Screen, just picture frozen. I held down the power button and turned it off, then restarted it, got to desktop and it BSOD barely enough time to even see the error message. It rebooted automatically, but didn't show anything onscreen, instead the CPU and DRAM LED's were lit on the motherboard in the Ez Debug section. I couldn't get into the bios or anything, I started panicking. I tried clearing the BIOS/resetting it, still nothing. I took took out the stick of RAM in the furthest slot from the CPU, and booted the PC, it booted fine the BIOS and and asked if I wanted to load my saved profile: Stable, So I did. Once it rebooted I was able to get back to the Desktop, I done a cinebench R20 benchmark and a windows memory diagnostic all worked fine, I then shut down the PC and took out the "good" RAM, and put the other RAM back in. I tried each slot, but the PC just wouldn't POST. So after redoing the little troubleshooting steps a couple times over to finally work out if it's the RAM or not, I think I have concluded one of the Corsair sticks 16GB's is DEAD. I only purchased it in Augast. How likely is it that it is actually the RAM that is DEAD? Could it be the CPU? Or the Motherboard? I'm going to go through Amazon and hope to get a replacement, if that fails I'll go directly to Corsair. I hope when I get the replacement RAM that all issues are resolved, because if not, then I may have to return the CPU through Amazon, or the Mortherboard.
  4. Just an Update on this thread, I ended up RMAing it to the Corsair H100i V2 as they said it was a fault with the pump.
  5. Because I edit my facecam separately. I like have the freedom of being able to edit every little bit.
  6. Hi, I've been a long time user of OBS studio and Never encountered something this bad. Step by step on how OBS crashes. I load up OBS studio Portable (Facecam) I load up OBS studio (Game/Desktop) I start recording by pressing F9 which starts both. I load up a game (in this example Battlefield 1) then about 30 - 60 seconds in to the game, it will just crash. not the game, but one of the OBS instances that are open. And it will always be random on which one crashes. My computer is more than capable on recording 60fps 1080p on both instances of OBS Studio as I've been using it like I say for a long time now. It's not like I'm running out of RAM as I have 64GB DDR4 I've got an Sapphire RX480 nitro+ OC And have plenty of storage. I always clean install new graphics drivers when they are needed. And yes I use --portable in a shortcut on my desktop to load OBS from a separate hard drive as a new instance. (Facecam) and I leave the default settings for installing OBS apart from turning off plugins, as have no use for them. (Game/Desktop) Any and much help would be appreciated. Edit: To also note. I don't stream. I only record. I also Posted to the OBS forums but I'm not getting any replies? Hopefully some here can be of more help? https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/obs-studio-crashes-as-soon-as-game-starts-to-load-in.79906/ The Logs are at this link.
  7. That's awesome, may look into that. Also if anyone else has any other suggestions, or think that I'm going down the wrong path, please let me know, I'm all ears. I just want a way so that this data can be separated from my PC. my goal to have my partners data and my data on a Nas/server that we can both access from anywhere, and ideally with all the things I've mentioned so far apart from converting before I import into premiere. I want to convert the original files from the RAW footage/OBS recordings down after uploading the edited footage to youtube and deleting the youtube/output edited files?
  8. That's actually a good shout, okay, so scrap that idea of converting before I import into premiere. I want to convert the original file after I've uploaded to youtube for archiving purposes. On my PC I currently have over a TB of original video files (recorded) and under a TB of output edited files. (I like keeping stuff) But converting the original files from the RAW footage/OBS recordings down after uploading the edited footage to youtube and deleting the youtube/output edited files?
  9. nice but I already have better programs on my pc, not looking for programs on my PC though, looking for automatic compression every time a recording is uploaded to the server/nas? without any manual input?
  10. yeah Considered that, but that's what I'm looking for, the compressionconversion that happens as soon as I record with obs to the server/nas
  11. I've got about 16TB storage on my PC, so plenty of storage there, but I want to be able to move most of it over to a nas drive, as I'm on a game design and development course at UNI, I require a ton of space. I have my youtube on one HDD (OBS recordings and Premiere CC outputs on that HDD) I have my Documents, films, downloads and so on, on another, and have my Games and my OS on the same SSD's (2x 1TB Crucial memory SSD's in RAID0) and I have a backup HDD all in my PC currently. My goal here is to have my Files on a NAS drive that I can access anywhere, be it at UNI or home, or while travelling, I also want my girlfriend to have access to a portion as well, as well has have some shared access to films and documents. I'm not sure whether that makes sense, But the more questions that get asked the better, and I'll try my best to elaborate on those questions in as much detail as possible.
  12. recording from obs to a nas drive and the nas drive converting the file to a smaller size for adobe premiere pro. Not sure whether that makes sense, but I'll try my best to elaborate. So I want a Nas drive on my desk or near my computer. (You get the idea) I want to have it set up so my girlfriend and I can access it. I want it so my recordings from OBS are stored on it, and so that my premiere cc output is stored on it. I'm not too sure on file types but I record to MP4 multi channel audio and render out to MP4 for YouTube all in 1080p 60fps. As you can imagine the files sizes are massive. I'm wondering if I can set up a server/Nas device on the cheap (student budget) That can allow me to record to it, then compress the file on the fly so I then when I output it in Adobe premiere cc the file will be smaller? I also want to be able to store my massive library of films on it, as well as my music and photos, and I want to be able to set it up so my photos automatically back up from my phone and my girlfriends phone to it. As well has having automatic backups of our pcs? Can someone make this readable in a format for a dyslexic person? Thank you.
  13. The corsair h100i gtx is plugged directly into the cpu fan header on the motherboard, I disabled the qfan control in the bios as it interferes with corsair link, (pretty normal thing to do) I've tried various fan headers, still with the same results, it seems as though the liquid isn't moving!
  14. My girlfriend wants a gaming computer.. So I was thinking if I won I'd give her my R9 270x along with my fx 8320 cpu, and upgrade my whole set up.
