  1. If it would cost you more than $50 to switch to a 2080 don't do it
  2. First off, the CPU+mobo doesn't make sense. Using a 9900k with a super low end board means that the VRMs are gonna be pretty bad, and may not even work with the CPU properly without more cooling. As well, you lose a lot of features (e.g. more ports) by getting such a cheap mobo. Honestly for CPU at most I would get a 9700k. Or maybe an 8700 non-k since you don't wanna OC 32 gb RAM is overkill for just gaming. 16gb would be fine; if you got a better board with 4 ram slots you could get 2x8gb allowing you to drop in another 2 sticks in the future (if needed) for 32gb. You also don't really want to cheap out too much on the case; a bad case can make building in it much more of a pain and may have worse cooling lowering performance of your gpu and cpu. The PSU is way overkill in wattage, you don't need that much. That many case fans is a bit overkill; at most you might need 4.
  3. 4460s is like the lower power version so it uses less power but it's also less powerful
  4. The i5 has double the cores though
  5. All of the 9000 series cpus launched so far are soldered (all the way down to the i5 9600k

  7. I mean... The fact that we both recommended it though must mean it's good, right?
  8. I've used something called block this which works pretty well, and it doesn't require root. It routes traffic through a VPN on your device to the app so that I can filter the traffic. The downside though is that you then can't use a vpn at the same time. Also, it doesn't work on YouTube ads but it blocks website ads quite well. If you're willing to give Firefox a try, they allow using extensions, so you could add ublock origin to it.
  9. It depends. On a smartphone screen the difference will usually be pretty small. On a laptop or monitor, though, you will probably be able to notice it. Between 1440p and 4k, on a phone you probably won't notice anything. On a laptop the difference might be noticeable but very small. It would probably be more noticeable on a monitor or TV. It all depends on viewing distance and screen size. Just like how a camera can't see as fine detail farther away.
  10. I would probably go 860 evo overall; you might get a little benefit in video editing but endurance will be worse and once the 660p starts getting filled up speeds (especially write speeds) become pretty crap.
  11. What exactly do you mean by scratch disk?
  12. -a bit overkill on cpu IMO, a 9700k or 2700/x would be a better choice depending on what animation applications you're using and you could use the money saved oh a better gpu -at that price I can't really recommend a 120mm AIO over, say, a dark rock 4 -idk if you're willing to but saw a deal on Newegg eBay for a 512gb intel 545s for $55. It'd be a better ssd and larger

Man, having no internet over black Friday fucki…

Sadly though 60 fps videos can't be downloaded with sound
  14. Yeah Ik, but the higher number of bad reviews than some other is what puts me off, even though most likely it'll be OK. Honestly I'll probably wait until tomorrow to see for sure. I've seen some solid deals on other earbuds like the Jabra elite 65t... Who knows, maybe something great will pop up!
  15. Yeah I totally believe you haven't had issues with your's; it's just that it sounds like it's a hit or miss thing, you know what I'm saying? I might be lucky and get one that lasts me half a decade or even a decade, or I might end up getting one that breaks in a week. Chances are it'll be fine but the risk seems to be higher than other earbuds which puts me off because I'd rather not potentially have to deal with that.
  16. Mainly it's the reviews. It seems like the sound quality is good but the QC is... not the greatest. 3 stars definitely doesn't inspire confidence in me https://www.amazon.com/Jaybird-Wireless-Bluetooth-Sports-Headphones/dp/B01M7NCT5O/ref=sr_1_1?s=aht&ie=UTF8&qid=1542851642&sr=1-1&keywords=jaybird+x3
  17. I'm looking into buying some wireless earbuds around right now since there's all the black friday deals. I preferably want true wireless earbuds but ones with a cord connecting the earbuds aren't out of the question if it's a good deal. Especially since it looks like a lot of true wireless earbuds only have battery life of around 4 hrs when using them... and I would definitely prefer if that was around double. Noise cancelling would also be a bonus, but it's not necessary. My budget is under around $120 ish; if there's something that's a pretty good deal that costs more I'd be willing to go higher and $200 would probably be my absolute max. I looked around a bit and saw a couple here and there: link link These aren't too expensive but idk how good sound quality is, and the battery life is definitely not what I would call ideal. I have no idea how good these Samsung ones are but the 7 hours of battery life they advertise is pretty enticing... link These Bose ones are definitely stretching the budget but they also have noise cancelling... however the reviews aren't the greatest. link These are noise cancelling and much cheaper which is nice, but idk about sound quality and 3 hrs of playtime doesn't sound great link These aren't true wireless but the battery life is much better link I also heard some recommendations for Jaybird X3s or X4s but the reviews don't look the greatest. I'm really not sure what to go for... there's a lot of options and I'm not really an audio guy so idk what has good sound quality and what doesn't; what has QC or connectivity issues and what doesn't, etc. Also, I heard that wireless earbuds sometimes have latency issues, but that bluetooth 5.0 has something that can help alleviate this. Is this true? Because if yes, I would definitely want something with BT 5.0 EDIT: I forgot to mention, do you guys think it might be worth holding off until Friday to check out deals? Thanks for the help people!
  18. The stock cooler should be a bit better as well. The 2700x might also be binned but at most that might get you .1 ghz or something I doubt it would make a huge impact.
  19. If you're just doing two GPUs a 2700x should be fine; if you do more then maybe you might want a 1900x
  20. I would recommend this RAM instead https://pcpartpicker.com/product/DHPzK8/team-vulcan-16gb-2-x-8gb-ddr4-3000-memory-tlgd416g3000hc16cdc01 For GPU an rx 570 is a LOT cheaper and just as good, or an rx 580 8gb is actually a little cheaper so I would get one of those instead. As for PSU, I would suggest this CXM grey sticker instead https://pcpartpicker.com/product/FQ648d/corsair-power-supply-cp9020101na I would also probably get this newer mobo https://pcpartpicker.com/product/PCKcCJ/asrock-b450-pro4-atx-am4-motherboard-b450-pro4
  21. Yeah I'm not sure how it works tbh... Maybe they'll have a bunch go live on Friday or something? According to here it sounds like that's what'll happen it doesn't say when though https://www.theblackfriday.com/amazon-blackfriday.shtml
  22. They have had a couple of black friday deals going on since around this friday.
  23. I said in a couple of CPU intensive titles for a reason. In most games there won't be much of a difference but in a couple there will be
