sommde5 got a reaction from CableMod in Cablemods e series vs c series?
I ended up going to performance pcs website to pick them up. I got the white g2 with the combs for free. total was 89 plus tax and shipping. Not bad. Super pumped.

Awesome, I am stoked that I will get $200 back in the process. Im not into competitive gaming so I figure I should be fine with 4k at < 144hz. To be honest I have been playing my 1440p monitor at only 60hz since fallout 4 due to bugginess at anything above that, and the 60hz seems just fine to me. I still want to make sure the downgrade from ips to tn isn't a deal breaker. What do you think?

At the moment there's so many great monitors it's really personal preference it's not like when ROG swift first came out and it was the singular monitor to beat... Now there's actually competition, you'll probably be happy with any of them, I think my vote would be the Acer XB270HU but I personally play competitive mobas and fpses such as LoL and CSGO commonly and video edit, which I don't like curves for...  Maybe wait on that 165hz monitor asus has coming out soon?

good job at picking storage and peripherals. you can pick up more storage as you go, and upgrade your KB/mouse later.

if you can go without AIO, my suggestion is Noctua NH-D15. very quiet they say. but the drawback, is the color.

Cooler master makes pretty good aio's. I have a Cooler Master Nepton 240M one, and it's been very reliable and completely silent. http://pcpartpicker.com/part/cooler-master-cpu-cooler-rln24m24pkr1 I do recommend getting an aio if you plan on doing overclocking on a high end chip like a 5820k

Support for 3 way sli plus m.2 on every board, but mainly asethetics.
As for the g1, the msi card is much quieter and has many times fewer complaints about coil whine plus it matches the build well.
I didn't quite have the money left over for a 1200 dollar monitor sadly. Perhaps in the future.
