  1. It's from 2006 and mostly uses cpu. Doesn't help that it's single core based and I have it loaded up with a bunch of addons.
  2. This was in Final Fantasy 14, when the final levels for the Alexander raids came it. This specifically was the last boss fight.
  3. Games in general I'm fine with 30 fps, although I prefer 60 and do try to reach it by lowering a few settings. The only exception would be my flight simulator where 10-20 fps is common, especially in Seattle where I have some Add-On scenery. But it's enough to fly a plane....
  4. I personally wouldn't go with the auto overclocked as they generally add to much voltage. Up to the op though
  5. An overclock like that really doesn't reduce the life of the cpu. That really starts to happen at higher voltages like 1.35-1.4 and even then the cpu will last a long time. 1.25 is actually around stock voltage I believe so I wouldn't worry about the cpu dying. You can ruin the cpu if you go stupid high and arnt careful but you are definitely fine at what you are currently at.
  6. I currently have a Dell Wireless 1504 in my Dell Precision M4000 is only able to connect to 2.4Ghz(even though it supports N routers...) and I was wandering what I should update to in order to use the ac capabilities our router has. The 1504 is in a half height mini pcie slot(I think that's what it's called) and I was looking at the Intel 7260 for a possible replacement, although I have seen some negative things about it. Does anyone have any recommendations?
  7. I tested each stick for a few hours, although I have done a couple Prime 95 tests over night with the blend mode and it was completely fine. I'll see about doing the burn test or somehting later
  8. My computer recently has been having quite a few blue screens, generally every couple days. What I have done so far is to first test each stick of ram individually with memtest86, reinstall windows, reset my overclock(ram was kept at 2133 since I've gotten the computer), and take one of the 970s out(the zotac). I'd appreciate it if anyone had any ideas. Blue screens before windows reinstall: Bluescreen after reinstall:
  9. I've had good experiences with Asus, I know gigabyte are arn'the bad. I've had no bad experiences with MSI boards but I have heard some not so great things about them. The three you have chosen out are pretty good I think.
  10. Does the g3258 work? That is the only explanation I can think of.
  11. It's risky, although I think it can be done for a few seconds. I'd use the stock cooler though just to be safe if it came with one.
  12. Could just be the sensors and how the various programs interact with getting the information. Unless you needed to do something based on voltages like overclocking I wouldn't worry honestly.
  13. Huh, you would have to ask someone else but I'm assuming your machine is running fine right now? I bet there are points you could measure but I wouldn't know where.
  14. Those two are the same port looking at the motherboard. They could be used interchangably.
  15. What motherboard do you have? The manual should also say if they are usb ports or not. It sounds right but I can't be completely sure honestly.
