  1. Thanks for replying but earbuds are a big no no, they make my eyes bleed even when not inserted deeply, I've had cases where wearing an earbud for 10mins made my ear hurt the entire day
  2. I've got really sensitive ears, like, EXTREMELY sensitive ears that I can't wear headphones for more than 10 minutes without them feeling bit itchy and very unpleasant. I've tried many speakers, kraken and recently arctic pro wireless which i thought would be comfortable but again, anything more than 10mins and I go insane. I've kinda given up on headphones but thought I'd give LTT a go and see if anyone has similar experience with sensitive ears. Like my ears are so sensitive the outside randomly bleeds if i scratch it just slightly. I can't have anything press on my ears at all otherwise I'm constantly moving my ears around all the time. Yes, I've been to the doctor, many even and they say nothing is wrong with my ears, it could just be psychological but who knows Would really love some help on this, even the headphones are expensive. (OR Speakers) My only rule is for them to be wireless, my entire setup is wireless so I'd hate to ruin it with cables.
  3. I am honestly so surprised, I should've done this before, my temps are soo good right now and the GPU is no longer spiking and dying every few seconds. I played a whole bunch of games from AAA to league of legends to dauntless etc. and not a single problem. From now on I'm going to change the thermal paste of any GPU i buy, literally takes 10mins and the results are so impressive.
  4. So I've had my 2080Ti for almost 3 years now and for the past month it's been heating up a lot and ramping up the fans insanely loud and then go back to 0 and just repeating in cycle of up and down in fan speed and it's always at max temp. It used to idle at like 40+c So I decided to use change the thermal paste on it and perhaps that would help, it was suspiciously easy to open and the screws were straight forward to find and the thermal paste that was on there def was gone, like 90% wasn't even on anymore, it had barely any and it was dried up and dark a bit, so I cleaned it up and changed the thermal paste It now idles at like 33c instead and does still go up to 80 on full load but it never ramps up and down like it used to. But I just felt like maybe i need to do more testing so am asking here whether anyone done this before and dealt with unsuspected behavior down the road or any problems and what's the best way to test
  5. Any budget, i just want something very low profile like the cougar vantar, and TKL, budget unlimited, any suggestions please?
  6. Thanks mate ^^ really happy with how it turned out, I'm just glad I didn't break anything since first time doing any of that. And yeah I'm looking for a 3080 or a used 3090 if anyone would sell but in Australia it's next to impossible right now.
  7. Replaced the 3 front phanteks fans with QL 140mm corsair and the pcie gpu cables with white ones, loving it !
  8. Haha thanks yea for me it's worth the upgrade and since I can do it, why not
  9. Yeah I know about the ray tracing but still nice to have. Also I bought both AC games on uplay, anyway i can make the performance there better?
  10. It does though.. I can't keep consistent 60fps on Valhalla or far cry 5 or odyssey in medium even sometimes, on Cyberpunk 2077 actually I'm always above 60fps with combos of highs and shadows on low/meds goes between 60 and 90 surprisingly not so bad. But yeah I want that 15% more performance, also it has much better Ray tracing too and I can sell this 2080Ti and not be too impacted. Also am in Australia so 3080 is about 1300$ here (AUD), everything is ridiculously expensive here unfortunately.
  11. For consistent 60fps + on higher settings in games, 2080ti just needs that lil extra tbh
  12. Yes I understand but like the apple headphones, they have noise cancelling but large ear cups, i don't mind them pushing towards my ears but the ear cups on the mx3 or mx4 are tiny
  13. - Case: Phanteks P500a DRGB - Motherboard: ASUS X570 Pro/CSM - CPU: AMD 5900x - GPU: Gigabyte 2080 Ti windforce - Waiting for the TUF Gaming 3080 to be in stock to get that and replace the 2080 Ti - RAM: 32GB Gskill Trident Z 3600mhz CL16 (Dual channel 2x16gb) - PSU : Corsair RM 650x 80gold psu - CPU Cooler: Corsair H150i Capellix - Performs great but lowest RPM is 2k and it's loud... like... loud. ( I have it on Quiet on ICue and it's connected to the CPU_FAN header) and forgot name of thermal paste I used on it - Wifi/Bluetooth: TP-LINK Archer TX3000E - Fans: Phanteks fans that came with case but I'm replacing them soon with 3 Corsair QL140 White RIB PWM 140mm and there's a Corsair LL120mm in the back exhaust (3 intake, 4 exhaust) and will be controlling them all through ICue - Misc: Changing the CPIE cable sleeves for the GPU with white Gamerchief ones to match the other cables - Monitors: Asus ROG XG29Q 1440p 144hz and a Acer XB241YU 1440p 144hz - Mouse: Gigbayte G703 wireless - Keyboard: Ducky one 2 TKL - Mousepad: Some razer one with rgb around it lol - Microphone: Blue yeti nano Note: Desk image shows my older prebuilt pc just at least this one is clean desk lol Cinabench R20 results: Multi: 8540 Single: 611 I'm using PBO with Auto OC in AMD Ryzen Master, on idle is between 30-40 degrees and while gaming around 60-70 degrees Clock speeds with the above configs is around 4.4-4.5ghz when all core and 4.6-4.7ghz single core. I haven't touched anything in Ryzen master manually just left PBO with +200mhz in bios do it's thing. Any help is appreciated since this is my first time using an AMD CPU Edit: core voltage max hits 1.45 when reaching the max clock speeds mentioned and goes as low as 1.1 on normal load This is my first ever build, I had a prebuilt before this one and this build took me around 12 hours to assemble lol, mainly because I used some parts of my old build. TODOs: - Replace the stock case fans with the Corsair ones mentioned above, shipping - Change cable sleeve on CPU to white ones, shipping - 3080 TUF gaming to replace 2080 Ti - Going to be using a V1 Tech RGB Backplate - Cover the PSU with a V1 Tech custom RGB plate with my gaming name on it (Pampz) - Figure out a way to hide the cables or cover the hole next to the front intake fans (lower right in pic) - Bigger PSU Any suggestions are welcome !
  14. I got the Sony 1000mx3 and yeah I know they sound amazing but I can't put them on for more than 2 hours without them crushing my ears and becoming very very uncomfortable. I just want something with as close as it gets for sound quality while comfort and noise cancelling being pretty good. Any suggestions are appreciated since I honestly know nothing abt headphones
  15. Yeah good point, I think I'll leave it as is for now since running cinabench again on single core hit 601 which is pretty respectable considering it barely went above 70c. Thank you so much ^^
  16. I see, actually I just downloaded the latest "beta" version of the x570 and then tried to run PBO again from bios, now it clocks up to 4.5Ghz, running cinabench I got 8442 on multi core and 593 on single core, still feel like the single core could be better, should I just leave as is or is there anything in Ryzen Master using PBO that I can do for single core performance? Edit: Ryzen master is on default, only thing I changed was bios version and pbo in bios.
  17. Also how do i choose if it's single core boost or all core boost in ryzen master?
  18. Sorry i meant 1.1, I just initially googled what it should be and found 1.35 somewhere so I tried that and when it didn't work i put it back to what it was before which was 1.1. typo
  19. I first tried 1.35, didn't work and then set 1.5 and it also didn't work, the computer crashes as I hit the apply button in Ryzen master
  20. Hello, so I built my new computer with a 5900x and the motherboard is the Asus x570 pro csm and 3600mhz CL16. I have the latest bios for that motherboard from Asus's website and I downloaded the x570 chipset drivers from the amd website. I come from intel so I usually used AI suite to change the clock speeds. Without doing anything, the 5900x runs at 4.2Ghz, any attempt to overclock over that on Ryzen Master or Ai Suite 3 will result in a crash, max I could do that was somewhat stable and was able to run cinabench r20 was 4.4Ghz and got score of 8400~ multi core and 560 single core at 4.2Ghz. I have D.O.C.P enabled and precision boost overdrive set to enabled as well. Using Ryzen Master, I tried to set a profile to precision boost overdrive but that also only boosts to 4.2Ghz and idles at 3.7Ghz. I'm new to AMD so I'm not really sure what I'm supposed to do. I also tried the Ez tuning in Asus motherboard and it didn't change anything at all. Any help is appreciated thank you!
  21. I will most likely exclusively use it with my chromecast for netflix, i just want something with good visuals and audio quality, the rest i don't care much. I live in Australia and my budget around 500$
  22. Budget (including currency): Unlimited - but nothing too expensive.. Country: Australia Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Assassin Creed, Far Cry, Valhalla, League of Legends, Android Studio, Apex Legends, etc. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

I might buy a 6800X graphics card If I get my hands on one 3) Is there something wrong with the build? Or can be done better? Recommendations? Please point it out
  24. @JurrunioI see, I read the AMD tier list and it's quite hard to pick one from them tbh considering I don't really know much, I just want something that is future proof and am guessing because x570 has PCIe 4.0 everywhere it means it's a bit more future proof than the B550, correct? Is there some key features that the Asus board I mentioned is missing? I don't care much about Wifi because I have a Wifi 6 card
