CamThaaMan got a reaction from Nonco in AMD Build
Yeah, I only titled this "AMD Build" is because my friend started an amd part lists and I said "maybe you should just start with intel since its more popular and better than amd" so yeah, lol sorry for misleading title. -
CamThaaMan reacted to W-L in Dual Montior setup ?
For sure you can use two monitors for even productivity or doing things online it's nice to have two fullsized screens to work on stuff. all your would require is to hookup the second monitor to an available port on the card.

I'd get the R9 390 myself, but the MSI Gaming cards are some of the best GTX 970s. But I do own a GTX 970 (got it long before the 390 was introduced) and it's an incredible card.

R9 390 is the best bang for your buck there, that's an extremely high quality PSU.

You most definitely do no want to just drag and drop copy the files from one drive to the other. That would run into huge issues, including a non functional boot sector.
You will need to clone the HDD to the SSD. If you don't have a SATA to USB cable or USB dock, then you will need to plug both the HDD and SSD directly into the via regular SATA cables. Your motherboard should have came with at least a couple SATA cables.
Then you can clone the drives. This can be done via any number of drive cloning utilities.
Acronis is excellent and very easy to use, but it costs money (if your HDD is a Western Digital, then Acronis offers a free WD edition).
As shit the free versions, there are lots of good ones such as:
Clonezilla
Macrium Reflect
EaseUS ToDo Backup Free
I recommend the last option, EaseUS ToDo Backup Free. It's very easy to use, is free, and has no issues with cloning a bigger HDD onto a smaller SSD.
Download the installer from their website, which will automatically create a bootable USB stick.

Alright then, I'll most likely go with the corsair's ram, and I just ordered the psu and cpu cooler, so I'll be looking forward to that and will keep you updated if you don't mind. -

Thank you so much for your advice, but for now I'm going for a new psu and cpu cooler, and the 970 for later once I have enough for it. I'll have pictures of my current rig sometime soon so you'll see what I'm working with.
