Good god, @Zando Bob love you man but no...
@blnswamy The kit will work fine with hardline tubing but you will need new fittings alongside those tubes. You may be better off using the EKWB configurator and setting it up similarly to the PE series of kits but with hardline tubing.

Looks like Derick hasn't been on since Feb, but Luc was on 11 hours ago, so he'll probs respond tomorrow or something. Hopefully. You could try PM'ing him.

You should be good with those kits, though you could contact EK and see for sure. @EK_Derick @EK Luc

blnswamy got a reaction from Delicieuxz in Deals for GTX 980 TI

blnswamy reacted to Katsunaka in Pc future-proofing
Nothing on a computer is future proof. At some point, every part on a PC will die due to age. It'll be replaced by a faster part, inevitably with RGB LED's on it.
50 years ago a PC was the size of an average bedroom. Now look, Intel's Skull Canyon NUC is something you can stick in a pocket.

blnswamy reacted to Aereldor in GTX 980 TI vs 980 for 4K HTPC gaming
The 980 will cut it at lower settings, but I'd recommend the 980 Ti. However, either way, you won't be hitting 60FPS at Ultra anytime soon. More like 40-45 at high, even with a 980 Ti.
I'd wait for the new Pascal or Polaris GPUs if you have the patience, as they appear to be targeting gaming at higher resolutions.

blnswamy reacted to dreamhacking in Bought 980ti but I don't see any difference from my old 780 (1080p, 60hz)
I think you should send me your GTX 980 Ti, and i will send you my GTX 960 since you are using 1080P 60hz.
Problem solved.
but be honest, GTX 980 Ti should have a big difference compared to the GTX 780

blnswamy reacted to canadiansteve2 in Bought 980ti but I don't see any difference from my old 780 (1080p, 60hz)
thats because the 780ti and the titan are the same except for memory and some cuda cores so of course the 780 is better than a 980

blnswamy reacted to chiwas in Bought 980ti but I don't see any difference from my old 780 (1080p, 60hz)
You have to buy another 980ti to feel any difference at 1080p/60hz.

the 5820k might be a better option if you want a hex core cpu.
