  1. it says "By submitting this form and signing up for emails, you consent to receive marketing email messages (e.g. promos, cart reminders, etc.) from LTT Store and Linus Tech Tips at the email provided. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Email frequency varies. Unsubscribe at any time."
  2. Have you fixed this yet? If not try the BITS troubleshooter (background intelligent transfer system) to fix windows updates
  3. Replaced USB cable and still getting disconnects and reconnects but less frequent. (So less frequent now that I'm not 100% sure it's the hub anymore) Is there a way to log when a device connects and disconnects to see which device connects and disconnects?
  4. Sounds like dirty power mixed with a bad UPS
  5. Launch the browser with extensions disabled see if that fixes it, does this happen on any other network connected devices?
  6. If you can ever hear the electricity in your computer, it's never a good thing. Try a USB Wi-Fi dongle or a new network card see if that helps, should only be about $10-$15
  7. Are those temps at idle? Or while gaming?
  8. Make sure the video cable is in the right video cable spot
  9. does the screen have external power or is it pulling from the pi?
  10. I noticed the other day that I seem to get a constant appearing and disappearing "safely eject hardware" icon in my taskbar, it flashes so quickly I can't click on it, I narrowed it down to being affected by the powered USB hub I have (https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00SCX6I8A/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s01?ie=UTF8&th=1) when I open device manager that also refreshes but less often maybe every 10 seconds vs every 5 seconds for the taskbar. the powered USB hub only has a mouse and a webcam plugged into it so I doubt it's drawing too much power from its dedicated power supply. when I unplug it from the PC all the refreshing stops until I plug it back in. I hear at random intervals through the day (maybe once a day) that a device is unplugged and plugged back in so I assume the USB hub is just taking too long to "refresh" and the system thinks it's disconnected. because shortly after I hear the chime for disconnecting I also hear the chime for connecting the device (I have a new USB cable for the device on its way to me now just in case that is the cause) I'm curious if anyone else has experienced this issue and if so, could you remedy it?
  11. well shit now what do i do with my friday nights? lol
  12. nah aint no way they axe it, maybe floatplane exclusive but not axed
  13. ideal WAN show would be without linus (this week), no merch messages, and sponsored by dbrand. no WAN after dark, and main WAN just not even talk about the drama/controversies of the weeks
  14. dont they have "merch messages" available for the 24/7 live channel? lol
