  1. I love Nintendo but this kind of BS is unfortunately not a surprise at all. This is the expected level of online interaction on their consoles.
  2. Ok, thank you both! I will try to stop being paranoid now lol.
  3. That...doesn't really answer what I asked. And yeah, it would be a concern if it was at 70C or so...but what I want to know is if it's problematic to have the radiator/liquid running at ~41C, if it damages the AIO or the tubes.
  4. So, I finally decided to try and customize the fan curve on my h115i. As a result, the bloody thing is finally very silent, and after playing BF1, which is a CPU intensive game, for a bit more than one hour, the temperatures on the processor stayed at about 65C with a maximum of 70C. The radiator is mounted on the top and I'm not running a blower fan graphics card, so that is making it run a bit hotter (see Kyle's video if you don't know what I'm talking about). But as a result of turning the fans down considerably, the radiator temperature rose to 41C max. Is that a problem? If it is, what temperature would be ideal for this AIO? Thanks
  5. Just an update for those who might stumble upon this topic: apparently this issue is caused by the bios version 0906 on the Z270G Strix. If you also have this motherboard do not update to this version, as it will cause this. Either wait for the next bios that will probably fix the issue or use the version before 0906.
  6. Yes, I have. The cpu works just fine when I disable xmp, so does the memory, but it runs at 2133 instead of 3200. And well... I paid for 3200 MHz so I should be able to get that... I'm trying a bunch of different things in the bios but nothing so far..edit: typo sorry, very tired lol.
  7. Only one XMP profile available. Yes, the BIOS was updated. Yes, the CPU goes to 800Mhz also. Really weird...
  8. I just built my new 7700k system, and bought 16 gb of 3200Mhz ram. But when I enable XMP to get the actual speed of the ram modules, my CPU clock goes down to 800Mhz. If I disable XMP, the CPU speed goes back to normal but the ram frequency goes down to 2133Mhz. What am I doing wrong? It's been a while since my last system was built and nothing like this happened. Thanks
  9. The tubes are protected by a thick material, so, it's only a sign of kinking when the entire thing kinks, or could it be kinked inside? Sorry to bother you but it's a new build and it cost me a kidney so I want to be as careful as possible
  10. I installed the H115i on my pc yesterday. It was painful to fit it in the 350D but eventually I did it. As this was my first experience with water coolers in general, I didn't know how much pressure the tubes could take, but after twisting it quite a bit, temperatures seen to be fine. What I've seen people say is that the problem with bending the tubes too much is that they might slow the flow, but as the temperatures are fine, is there any problem (breaking, leaking etc) with keeping it that way? I can't post pictures right now, but I can tell you that they're like 90 degrees or more lol. I was pretty happy with how sturdy it is by the way.
  11. No! But seriously now, I just think that they have been putting the owners of top end cards in a bad situation, leaving consumers to believe that they bought the best out there, only to have their product replaced in months. However, just like the other user who quoted me, I think (I hope) they won't release a consumer volta card soon. But I've dealt with Nvidia cards suffering with bad drivers after being replaced, and I hope they prolong this inevitability.
  12. As an owner of a 6 years old CPU struggling to find a logical reason to upgrade, I really hope Zen will blow my mind. Please AMD make it happen
  13. "Whether or not to share this kind of information has been a long running debate among the team here at Cloud Imperium Games.". The site was given the name of this fictional ship manufacturer RSI, which is why you see RSI logos etc everywhere, but who's actually saying something is CIG. And as far as I know...there's no company within CIG called RSI that owns any copyrights....Please, do correct me if I'm wrong though. Thanks
  14. They're called CIG (Cloud Imperium Games). RSI is a fictional company.
  15. Sounds like CPU bottleneck indeed. Does anyone know if a 2600k suffers with this?
  16. Are you sure everything was okay with that 780? Try to find some benchmarks with both the 590 and the 770, I'm pretty sure those have similar performance. When I got my 780Ti I saw at least a 50%+ improvement, and that's in games where the VRAM was irrelevant.
  17. They are not hiring new people? Seriously? I take it you didn't watch CitizenCon. FFS STOP thinking something of this scale, this revolutionary, takes one year or two to develop. Please take a look at what they've achieved.
  18. Not really. My phone works perfectly fine and I'm satisfied with it. I do intend to keep it for a while, I'd rather spend money somewhere else.
  19. What an ugly iClone. Still see no reason to buy a new phone, might keep my nexus 5 for at least 2-3 years (battery sucks though)
  20. Is there a launch date?
