  1. I7-2600k @ 5.4 GHz 8GB of 1866 corsair memory GTX 590 Running everything Ultra except for AA, which is at 2x MSAA. I can play with 4x, but in some areas it drops to around 55 fps, and it personally bothers me. 1920x1080, although I'm trying to find a 1440p/1600p monitor, that game and ACIV should look incredible, stunning at that resolution, might be really sharp.
  2. I can't freaking believe I found someone who likes Gav. Cheers mate
  3. Christ, I KNOW MAN!! I am (more like was) talking about the RELEASE DATE OF IT!
  4. Please people, have some sense. I'm not talking about the chip, but the product itself.
  5. This is happening for a long time now. The latest and fastest CPU AMD has can't even compete to an older Intel mid-end one. I mean, look at the 9590. That thing is a joke. Very sad anyway, we consumers lose with this. Before there wasn't a competing AMD CPU in terms of performance, TDP, etc etc etc, but now, we have even LESS affordable competing options, only the APUs. Pretty sad, indeed.
  6. SLI fix, anyone? Posted my anger a while ago linustechtips.com/main/topic/82433-need-for-speed-rivals-gets-me-insane/
  7. If you thought Battlefield 4 had a bad launch, you haven't played this one yet. You HAVE to watch that stupid cutscene EVERY SINGLE TIME you start the game, AND there's two loading screens between it. I CAN NOT get past the tutorial because the game crashes either in the end or in the middle of the starting "race". The graphics aren't what I expected, but they're ok. The 30 fps cap is ridiculous, but you can fix it. But something that has surprised me is the fact that the game does NOT support SLI at all. One of the GPUs stay 0% on it's usage. This game has been a complete failure for me. Does anybody know a fix, so I can give it a try? Tell me if you had any problems as well
  8. DAMN YOU PEOPLE! I played for an hour now, and I have about 3 million cookies produced. Dammit, my finger hurts alot (thanks for showing me this)
  9. Can't be. Running on Ultra settings w/o FXAA (because it makes the game uglier)
  10. In all of my life, I've never seen a "Fan Project" get in to a game if it's not a super popular thing that the community helped to build, and is somehow a little addition to the game (just like the fan-made dog tags). Like Linus says: "I don't want be the devil's advocate here but", this is almost impossible to take a huge scale and get DICEs attention. I'm sorry if my words kill your hope, but let's be realistic, it's a no-go. Unless you are a really determined person, because if you are, you can do yourself the map (a "3d blueprint" of it) and then show it in the web and to the devs. If you could do that, cool, why not? Sometimes these things can turn out quite well. However, if that's not possible for you, I pretty much doubt it becoming real. Good luck if you wish to go on with the idea! EDIT: P.S: I like it
  11. Well that sure is pretty bad, as I'm not that comfortable with it . At least it's a general problem, would be great if they could solve it.
  12. I've been playing the game for a while now, and I noticed something that just doesn't look natural, and maybe you guys can tell me if it's the game, if it happens to you, or if it's my problem in particular. Some objects, like "junk" on the ground (pretty noticeable in Operation Locker) seems to load/render only at a certain not so far distance. Imagine there's a line that is located 10 meters after the player, and it moves with the player, for example. If an object gets into that line, it appears. If it gets out of that line, it disappears. That means, in that specific spot, that I can move back and forth and see the object appear and disappear quickly, as I move. Have you ever noticed? Thanks!
  13. If anyone has something to say, I'm still here, and I still want to make sure I'm doing it right
  14. Anyone else feel like helping? Am I missing something?
  15. Could you put some more detail in that if possible? Thanks, I'm just curious, and still shocked (and happy, very happy)!
  16. Yeah, haha. The problem is, it's kinda difficult to get performance charts in multiplayer. That's why they do it in the Single player. But what CAN be done is trust other fellas when tthey tell you what they get, in estimate. Soooo yeaahh...
  17. So that means that my card is simply powerfull enough, capable of doing it? That's so amazing...looks like the money I spent wasn't wasted and still is being put to good use till now! But yeah, I do have to lower the graphics to 2xmsaa in the campaign, but the MP is gorgeous and performs a lot better. I am still kinda doubting it yet, so if anyone has something to say, please do it, I'll be grateful!
  18. And...what do you mean? Yes friend, I AM running in the setting I wrote up there
  19. So, BF4 came out, had some problems, and could get to play only now. I was expecting to be running Ultra with no AA, but surprisingly, my GTX 590 (2 years old, 1.5 GB of VRAM) could run it at 2xMSAA and most of the time, 4x as well (some quick drops to 55-52, I personally can't play with these things). But.....i mean what the f is happening (LOL)? Benchmarks show that the game does indeed use around 2 gb of VRAM on 1080p, but in my case, with only 1.5 gigs, I could perfectly run the game! My setting are: Everything Ultra/1080p/2XMSAA/FoV 100/No irritating motion blur. My specs: 2600k 4.4 Ghz, 8GB 1866 memory, GTX 590 with a tiny OC, using windows 8.1 (seems to boost the game). Can someone explain this? Is the card just...capable? Or is the game compromising in something I didn't notice? I was thinking with myself and I thought if this could be a thing: maybe AA is only acting in the worse aliasing parts and leaving little ones alone. Is that even possible? Or are you guys surprised as I am? Let me know! P.S: Game looks amazing, much better than BF3 UPDATE: Checking the usage now, and looks like I should have a little bit more FPS, since the cards run at about 85%, I should get probably around 5-10 fps more (cars on fire and explosions make the usage even worse), might be a driver problem
  20. I'm legendary when it comes to sleeping and eating. JK Well, I practice with bow & arrow and I'm actually good at it, also basketball or anything that requires good reflexes (thanks to gaming, probably), such as goalkeeping (that's right?). About other things that aren't physical, I'm pretty good with writing, so I'll probably do something like journalism...but I also like geography for ex...
  21. It's free, so here's me! (wow, that was ridiculous)
  22. Wanted to mention GTX Titan, 1000$, you could get a 690/7990 with much more performance for the same money. Oh, and also all products of any kind from Brazil (Gas here is 51% taxes [damn corrupt politicians!])
