    I just finished building my computer and installing Windows 7, but my computer can't connect to my WiFi, I use BT as an internet provider (UK) and I need to know what settings I need to go into to sort it out. I think I have to download drivers? But I can't really do that without an internet connection or optical drive.

    How do I tell if my computer is working? My CPU Cooler fans are working and on, so that is working. My GPU fans are spinning, so that is working. But I can't tell if my: CPU, RAM, HDD and SSD is working. I turned on my computer and all the fans are spinning except the case fans. I tried connecting a molex to the Fan Hub, but it wouldn't go in properly. When I turned on my monitor and connected it to my GPU using a Display Port cable it said 'No Signal', how do I fix this problem? Should I turn on my computer and leave it for a bit, or should it work straight away. Is there a sure way to tell if I've shorted any parts (Do they make a noise or is it just like a small shock will run through my finger). I was grounded for most of it, and the parts I weren't I wasn't handling any parts that could be shorted. Please help, Thank You EDIT: Thank you everyone for your help, but I got it working, thanks again!

    I got my computer working and everything is fine with that, because the fans are spinning. However, when I plugged my monitor into my GPU with a DP cable it says 'No Signal', do I have to tune it to find my computer, or is my GPU not working?

    I don't think that I need them, as my components are pretty new. I almost made the mistake of putting molex to 6-pin on my GPU

    I have nearly finished building my computer and I'm down to the molex connectors. What do I need to plug them into? What are the generally used for, or do I not need them? Also where do I put all of the LED things (Power Button, Reset Switch), I'm using the NZXT H440 but still haven't been able to find where to put the connectors (some of them have - and +'s on them)

    should I use them both? They both have an eight pin connector so I think I should use both to power it

    I'm building my computer, and when installing my graphics card I saw that it had two 6-pin connectors. The Graphics Card came with two 6-pin to 2 molex connectors, but I don't think I should use them. My Power Supply is the EVGA 650W G2, and I have the Motherboard, CPU, SATA and PERIF cables connected. Do I need anymore? What cables should I use to connect it?

    So I opened steam and saw the Winter Sale *Angelic Choir Starts*, but I had no idea what games to buy. I plan on going to g2a for Fallout 4 and Rainbow Six Siege, but want to get other games from Steam. Also, does anyone know what type of DayZ FRANKIEonPCin1080p plays? I have no idea whether it's Standalone or Arma III. But I think he plays a modded version of Arma III DayZ (As in he downloaded a mod for the mod ). Games I plan on buying: Garry's Mod: £1.74 from £6.99 Skyrim V Legendary Edition: £4.99 from £19.99 I was planning on buying them both anyway, this just gives me more incentive to do so > I know not to get caught up in the sales but I plan to get totally caught up in the sales. Are there any games you think I should play for the New Year? Sub to my YouTube and tell me if there are any games you want me to play and upload :3 (shameless plug ).

    I thought AVG would take the browsing history of clients and give it to other websites so they could put up adds of what you have been looking at recently.

    What Antivirus do you use? I want a new one for my rig and all I really want it to do is: Block Malware, Phishing Protection, Something that can remove junk or extra files from my computer. But yeah, I just want to know a decent Antivirus (Paid or Free), and also what one do you use and do you like it? Or can it not handle modern Malware?

    Honestly, do your own research. You would end up with a much better Rig then what I could recommend, research around your price limit and just search something like: 'Your Budget' Gaming & Editing Rig. I really can't help you here...
