  1. I play a lot of single player games like The Witcher 3 and Fallout 4. I know they are old games but they are so fucking good I keep playing them. So, back to the question. Are these headsets good for my use, gaming and music listening? They currently sell at 150€ (310€ Before). I currently own Logitech G633 headsets.
  2. Lolz for reviving this oldish post. Is Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi HD USB good AMP? One of the cheapest I could find. And is there a difference between 3.5mm and USB amp?
  3. https://www.computerbase.de/forum/threads/beyerdynamic-mmx-300-2-gen-600ohm-an-asus-maximus-x-hero-z370.1763038/ Last comment: Different model but still made by Beyerdynamic. Thoughts ?
  4. Also I found this in my audio settings not sure that my board can power 1000ohm headphones. Or can it? Can someone confirm? Currently plugged Harman kardon soundsicks 2 or 3.
  5. Atoms' frequency Response is 20Hz-20kHz according to their website. And DT 990's 5HZ - 35KHz. Is this an issue? And is there a difference between an amp and an audio card?
  6. BTW what's the difference between DT 990 PRO 250ohm and DT 990 Premium 600ohm? Obviously 600ohm will use more power, but how about the audio quality? And do I need a AMP for it? Recommendations?
  7. Or should I go with DT 990 with an amp? I just found out that my motherboard has ''Supreme FX'' chip which can candle up to 600ohm headsets. Board I have STRIX B450-E. Here's a picture
  8. Ok. I'll try reducing frequencies. If thats the case, I can always get an amp. Maybe even an used one. Would you both say that K702's have better sound in general compared to G633?
  9. K702 seems to be the cheapest option with widest soundstage, and that doesn't need a seperate amp. Hmm... I think K702 is the way to go. I can always use EQ to tune audio a bit, right?
  10. Ouch. DT990 cost around 130€ and an amp like 100€. 230€ in total. I bit too steep for my budget. How much worse Audio quality does K702 compared to HD599 and DT990? And how does K712 and K7XX perform compared to the K702? They cost aorund 240€, which is a bit too much.
  11. Hi! Recently I've been searching for a pair of headphones that are good for gaming. I've heard that open-back headphones have good soundstage which makes sound more ''ambient'' or more ''immersive''. I love playing games like Witcher 3, PREY, Dishonored and similar games. I also listen to all kinds of music. Metal, rock, EDM, classic, pop... etc. But what I really want is really good sounding headphones that takes my single player experience ''to the next level''. I currently own Logitech G633 headphones which I bought some time ago, 3-4 years ago perhaps? And before that I used Playstation 4 stereo headset 2.0. Basically I don't have much experience with Audio. My budget is around 100-200€ in EU, Finland specifically. I have found couple of options like AKG K702 and Sennheiser HD599 which cost 130€ and 160€. Looks don't matter to me. EDIT: Thoughts on AKG K7XX and K712?
  12. Just buy IKEA counter top. Bought a month ago and it's litttddd
