  1. For speakers you would probably need a USB DAC though, I don't think the switches come with 3.5mm inputs/outputs
  2. 5600 is good enough, 5800x3d is better for 1440p. Techpowerup did their gaming benchmarks with a 3080 and there is a noticeable difference between them in 1440p. Now if it's worth the extra money that depends on you. No. 5800x3d is faster. 5800x3d also shouldn't be motherboard limited, the power consumption is very low.
  3. did you do something before it started doing that? Like start to use an autoexec from someone else? I don't see why console commands would stop working otherwise. You should try asking in Dota 2 community page or on Reddit, maybe someone else had this problem.
  4. Launch options How to open the launch options: Open the Steam launcher Go on the Library tab Press right mouse button on Dota 2 Select Properties and go on the General tab Press “Set Launch Options…” Here is a list of useful commands you can include in the launch options: +fps_max # The in-game settings are limited to 240 fps, but with this command you can increase the fps limit. it seems there is an option in the game settings itself.
  5. 5600G is slower. Base clock is misleading, because Zen3 CPUs boost all the time to higher than base clocks. 5600 has more cache and it also supports PCIe Gen4.
  6. You could get faster RAM, but that would be a waste of money. So no, no real benefits.
  7. 3600 RAM would help a little, but it's not worth paying too much over 3200. Is 5600G cheaper than 5600? If not get the 5600. The case looks pretty bad, you can find cheap cases that have good airflow.
  8. B650 is good. PCIe Gen5 lanes are really not useful for majority of people and that's the only real advantage X670 offers. Also the mobo is good, lots of phases, lots of usb. 7950X is definitely worth it. You get 4 more cores and 8 threads and higher clock speeds. That's like an extra budget cpu on top of 7900x.
  9. Get cheaper RAM (set RGB to white if you want white ) and 7950X instead. Also not sure why you went with a Corsair AIO, everyone seems to universally hate their software for RGB and the performance is still a 360 rad, for more money. Mobo is overkill. AMD mobos have been crazy overbuilt this gen. Also DP 1.4 is 4K144Hz. DP2.1 monitors don't exist yet, so how could he have it if DP 1.4 didn't support it?
  10. Weird. It's like they're not actually using the capabilities fiber.
  11. Our largest ISP just bumped all speeds for no extra cost. 100 > 250, 300 > 500, and they made the gigabit plan cheaper (I guess for existing customers, it will only apply after their contract expires) and then introduced 2 gigabit plan on top of that. And obviously they are all symmetrical. https://www.telia.lt/privatiems/internetas?24-men-sutartis
  12. Yeah I have a small ISP, so it's not real gigabit. I share gigabit with 9 apartments in my building and we all get guaranteed 100Mbit, but it never actually goes that low for one individual user. Like in peak use times I've seen it go as low as 300. Normally get around 500-900. And obviously the upload is basically always near gigabit, because no one uploads anything.
  13. I would go for the Keychron, most people say they are pretty good and I doubt the Logitech can be 2 times better, if it is at all.
  14. They're not exactly hard to find, they are called multiviewers. Very expensive, if you want to watch 4K 60hz. What exactly do you need help with?
  15. AMD said 7900XTX competes with 4080, not 4090 so that's pretty much settled. And 7950X is about as good as it gets for a CPU at the moment. So that's that.
  16. That alone is more than I pay for gigabit fiber, tv and my mobile plan with unlimited data. In 2022.
  17. Yeah I mean I kind of got most of it, but it looks like they know everything they want so what is even the real question there. Just build a suggestion build and then get criticized for making the wrong choices?
  18. Interesting, over here data caps are only for mobile data. But then also the caps don't make sense, if the average user doesn't exceed the cap then why implement the cap to hurt a minority of users, it's not like it's going to help you much. You paid money to F the ISP man? oh nvm you mean one payment for exceeding.
  19. I can't imagine living with a 1TB limit, but I guess for "mobile" internet it's pretty good. Personally I go over 2TB every month.
  20. Well I don't know what drive he chose as an example, but usually cheaper drives have lower write speeds. Probably some kind of cheap controller bottleneck.
  21. It shouldn't. Capacitors usually stay good for a long time, if storage conditions were good.
  22. I don't know how much of a rush you're in to do this, but it would be much easier to buy a USB to SATA adapter and not have to swap out drives, just download cloning software and do it like that. USB to SATA adapters are pretty nice to have since later you can use your old SSDs as external drives.
  23. It is a very good PSU, but age is definitely a factor when it comes to power supplies. 90 usd is a reasonable price though, even if it dies after a couple of years wouldn't be a major loss. Not saying it's guaranteed to die, it could outlive us all.
  24. Don't like the PSU, it's multi-rail, old. CPU cooling is way overkill for a 7700X you could just get a medium to large sized air cooler and have less noise and less things that can break. RAM is overpriced too. PCPartPicker Part List: https://fr.pcpartpicker.com/list/93cqXy CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7700X 4.5 GHz 8-Core Processor (€483.59 @ Amazon France) CPU Cooler: be quiet!
