well looks like theres nowhere to buy the a770…

Yep, seems like Intel did some lying as usual for them these days. "Launched" into thin air, can't afford to actually sell them at that price so they limit supply.

Amazon: we dOn'T cHeAt at our sEaRcH aLgOrItHm.…

But it clearly says featured and sponsored. If they hid that then it would be cheating.

It's on the front page, only visible on desktop mode if you're on the phone.

    Videocardz.com says it's 7 hours from now.
  5. Yea well the die size is not all that's big about the 4090. It has more and faster VRAM, bigger cooler and also Nvidia is trying to make a profit while Intel is likely losing money on the A770. We are simply in a situation where high-end gaming is a hobby and it has hobby prices. Nvidia knows that.
  6. You shouldn't feel bad at all. Thing is 4090 is expensive enough that the value slider doesn't change at all. Which I think was the main intention of the 1600 price tag. If anything this makes used cards like 3070s and Rx 6800s more amazing. Unless rdna3 actually does bring increased performance in the 600-800 range.
  7. Seems fine to me, they have proper offices in the EU. Usually means their stuff should have all the necessary certificates.
  8. Do your devices that you plan to stream to even support AV1 decode? It's still super rare.
  9. They are fans, just slow to adopt something that very few users will benefit from. I think Plex has money problems considering they give most of their features for free and most people don't pay anything.
  10. Artifacting usually means GPU memory dying. 3060 Ti is already famous for having really shitty Hynix memory. Could be that you lost the lottery. I say RMA the card and if they send you a new one sell it while it works.
  11. If video dies and sound continues it's likely that the GPU is crashing, usually caused by the PSU like you said or the GPU itself. If you replaced the PSU already then it could be that the last faulty one took your GPU with it.
  12. 4090 is coming out in two days. Why are you still looking at 3090ti? Other than that I don't see any issues with what you chose.
  13. I don't know how much of an issue it would be, but one rail couldn't handle the load and I'm not sure plugging in both separate rails into one GPU is smart. Definitely would not be something I would be comfortable in recommending. 600W for the 3700X and 2080 SUPER should be perfectly fine.
  14. Sata extensions will be fine, just don't buy them from aliexpress. Or do if you want to roll a little dice.
  15. Normally I'd say 600W would probably be enough, but in your particular case there is very little chance that it handles the load, because your PSU is dual rail.
  16. Yeah, I don't agree with the case either. If you want cheap case that has proper modern layout and good airflow get one of the budget Phanteks cases. https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07TYR1P1G?tag=pcp0f-20&linkCode=ogi&th=1&psc=1 Stock cooler is good enough.
  17. https://www.czc.cz/fortron-hexa-pro-500-500w/300786/produkt Proper brand, single rail, cheap. https://www.czc.cz/seasonic-b12-bc-550-550w/327515/produkt This one is just as good.
  18. Yes it will fit. The case has clearance of 165mm and the PSU is 160mm long.
  19. Every brand has sales, every brand has good psus and questionable ones. I am not one to pick things based on brands. For example Super Flower Leadex III 750W is on sale today at newegg.com
  20. Depends on the market and the current deals. There are a lot of PSUs that are good enough.
  21. Yeah, so they probably test to the point where they start getting corrupted data and then rate the drive for a little bit under that value.
  22. If the drive has 500MB/s+ sustained writes like 970 Evo Plus it would only take two weeks to write 600 TB into it.
  23. Do you turn off the lights in your house because they might sometime burn out? The answer is no.
