  1. But that just simply isn't true. Microsoft already has many studios and they already are funding a lot of games. Activision purchase is unrelated to any of it or relevant.
  2. Sony trying to somehow spin "exclusives are bad" is so funny to watch. "They are bad, except when it's us doing it!"

They got confused, because clearly you are lazy enough to order fast food, but not lazy enough to go pick it up and the portion is small. You would be confused if you saw a unicorn too.

Maybe something else is wrong or you just want to have 10 apps running. My phone has 6GB of RAM (had to look it up) and I never noticed an issue with apps not retaining stuff.

Why do you care about RAM usage? It's 2022.

Also, i can see why open space planning is pret…

I don't mean intentionally touch, more like having enough space not subconsciously keep touching it. The setup I have now with 80cm deep desk and 10+cm away from the wall is pretty much the minimum I would go with again. If I had a separate office room I would push it away further and get a 90+ cm deep desk.

I hate touching the wall with my feet. Not only does it feel bad over time you scuff up the wall.

Yeah, my desk is 80cm and it's still not deep enough, I was considering getting 42 inch 4K OLED for my monitor, but changed my mind, mostly because the desk is not deep enough. And it's also 10 cm from the wall and I can still reach the wall with my feet when reclined, not ideal. I wish I bought a deeper one.

Yup, everything I hate about desks in this one desk. Not deep enough, pushed close to the wall and it's a corner desk.
  11. You don't need conductive Loctite, you should only use a tiny bit of Loctite to secure a bolt and it wouldn't impact the resistance of the connection any significant amount. Should work the same with pins tbh, just push it in so it makes the connection before it dries out and it won't lose the connection.
  12. I agree. It's so annoying when some developers push the graphics so far beyond what gamers can do and then hide behind "next-gen" cover. In my personal opinion if you are a developer you should scale your games to the most popular midrange card that is on the market. Like for example for all games that are going to come out in the next year or so 3060 should be able to get 60 fps comfortably in 1080p (maxed or near maxed). If you go beyond that you are punishing majority of the player base with a shit experience, just because they were too poor.
  13. Cool, but knowing how well developers have optimized and polished games recently UE5 makes me shudder a little bit. I think I would prefer last-gen looking games if they ran smoothly and without as much janky stuff.
  14. You don't need to access the bios, the motherboard has a bios flash button. It likely doesn't support zen3 without updated bios. That's why it's not posting.
  15. Speakers are weird because wire resistance actually does have a noticeable effect on power output, especially on longer distances, but for everything else it doesn't matter. Like I said 16AWG wire is veeeeeeery safe for 9amps like they are using. And it's not wires that are the problem either. The connector is weird, but again, problem is not reproducible so it's hard to tell where the issue really is.
  16. Read the manual what the beep means? Did you update the BIOS?
  17. Well, they want to power 15+ inch subwoofers so they kind of need all that power. It's definitely a strange culture though, just like every hobby, some people go over the top.
  18. 16AWG 1.5mm2 wire can take 16 amps all day over short distances and the new standard is pushing around 9. So the wires are definitely not the issue. Connector mechanical design is questionable, but it still looks like the issues people are having are not reproducible, so it could just be a quality control issue to begin with.
  19. Q1: It will work just fine. RAM compatibility is mostly CPU dependent since the memory controller is on the CPU. Q2: U12S chromax black has the kit included already. Q3: It's a fine PSU, just very budget. I'd get this one instead https://pcpartpicker.com/product/4xGnTW/phanteks-amp-650-w-80-gold-certified-fully-modular-atx-power-supply-ph-p650g_us01 Q4: Reviews. That particular MSI board will be great.
  20. Touchpads have mostly been fine since Microsoft came out with precision touchpad. (years ago already) The pointing stick is weird to use. Not to mention for serious work everyone uses a wireless mouse anyway. Also with ThinkPads in that budget you would be stuck with a low power CPU and no GPU, not very video editing friendly. Or at all.
  21. Both of those will work perfectly fine, Corsair uses proper 16AWG for their daisy chained 8 pins. The second option is more beefy, but they will both comfortably deliver the whole 600W.
  22. 5950x at stock should not be reaching those temps with a 360 AIO, are you sure the fan/pump speeds ramp up properly? Or did you OC?
  23. Yes you would. 13700K has 8P cores that are faster and 8E cores. It's faster than 12900K was. I think it's a bit weird to fill out every M.2 slot you have right away and be stuck with only 2TB of storage. But that's just me.
  24. If you want a dedicated GPU I would definitely step up to something with at least a 3060. I think HP Omen looks pretty smart, least gamery out of gaming laptops. https://www.hp.com/us-en/shop/ConfigureView?langId=-1&storeId=10151&catalogId=10051&catEntryId=3074457345620383325&urlLangId=&quantity=1 I would grab 12500H + 3060 combination, 2560x1440 165Hz display and 1TB SSD. A little over your preferred budget, but those are definitely worthy upgrades.
  25. You can however do a full reset on windows 10 and choose not to keep any files. If that is what they want. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/recovery-options-in-windows-31ce2444-7de3-818c-d626-e3b5a3024da5#bkmk_reset_pc
