  1. Excited to see the next steps! Thinking at all about moving everything back inside the Ncase and giving up the external rad?
  2. Awesome stuff! Any word on temps for idle and serious gaming load after an hour or two?
  3. What are gaming load temps like with the 92mm added in the back (with the slim 240)? Been considering trying similar rads in mine, but concerned about temps and overclocks. Also, I've seen in some places that you're planning on doing a video for the window mod when you receive your V5. But I'd be interested in even a written description if you don't mind. Was it done entirely with a dremel? How did you get the edges as clean as you did? And finally how did you attach the plexi? Thanks!
  4. I'm using two separate 120mm rads right now in my M1. Corsair H75 on the CPU and an EVGA 980Ti Hybrid on the GPU. There's a few others that have done similar builds. Check out these pictures: https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B_tJIlh0Lks9fldYM3NMRE9FYUxVOUpMbjhxZkRPVm5LbGJsak8wMkp2eTQ5eGp3ai1mb3M&usp=sharing
  5. Has there been any news on this unit? I'd love to use it in my M1 (120mm fan alone would be worth it over the 600W), but I can't find any news regarding a release date.
  6. I'm having this same debate with myself while working on my new computer (probably finished by the end of the month) as it uses a 980Ti and I had my sights set on the PG279Q for G-Sync. However, as this display is now being priced at <$600, the question becomes "is G-Sync worth $200+ alone?" I'm not so sure. Rumor is the PG279Q will be 165hz vs. 144hz, but that really isn't going to make much of a difference at all unless you are running dual 980Ti in SLI and don't want to max settings in favor of a few more (probably imperceptible) frames.
  7. It's a fantastic screen, I'm excited for the PG279Q with GSync personally.
  8. Agree on the extra fans, I'm planning to use the GT's to replace the stock fans on the radiators so looking for static pressure optimized fans.
  9. From spending literally the last few hours researching fans, I'm down to Noctua NF-F12, or Scythe Gentle Typhoon AP-14. Given how much I hate the beige on the Noctua, I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on the GT's, any input appreciated.
  10. Awesome! Thanks for saving me a needless buy and return!
  11. The Hybrid will fit just fine, see the two linked existing builds with it in the OP. Running SLI would be fun, but would require using a (much) larger case than I'd like to as I have a small apartment and want to squeeze the case onto my desk. As for the fans, that's really interesting, I had been told the industrials would be plenty quiet and I can't stand Noctua's beige color. The brown on the industrials annoys me but will be tolerable... but I'll do some more research on the noise!
  12. Relatively open ended, though if there are opportunities to cut a little cost here and there or spending a little more will help substantially I'm open to either. Right now the PC itself is looking at being around $1900 on PC Part Picker. So ~$2000 sounds right, doubt I could get it down to $1750 without some drastic changes.
  13. Any chance you could tell me if that's the Corsair H75 and Noctua NF-F12 industrial PPC-2000 PWM 71.7 CFM 120mm Fans? I'm attempting a really similar build and would love any advice or input you might have! Thanks! http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/451051-ncase-m1-w-980ti-hybrid-and-i5-6600k/
  14. Totally! Should be relatively easy to add one or two normal SSD's to the front case mount in the future and leave the M.2 as the boot drive when that happens.
