  1. Here some actual pics and it looks better IRL than on photo ( sorry for the bad quality, shot with my OP3T ) Still trying to get the perfect position for it, that UV shines better Thx @CableMod
  2. hi guys currently i´m lvl 16 and enjoy the tension of beeing the hunter or getting hunted down while searching for goodies IMO the game has great potential and they got nice features upcoming like a own base/hideout and many more anyone here playing escape from tarkov too and wants to group up?
  3. seems to be nanoleaf, is this correct ? @James did some research about triangle lamps ( https://nanoleaf.me/en/ ) ... start kit with 9 triangles is 230 $ and the big with 30 panels is 620 bucks
  4. what "lamp"/lighting is that, kinda made with triangles ? 5:31 - 5:35
  5. i tried early access too with "ARK survival evolved" and wasnt disappointed, it only took like 2 years to get from alpha and early access into the full release and tarkov is a nice game with big potential, not mentioning the currently bad/ lagy servers and many bugs
  6. your system will boot in like ~15-20seconds and is ready to go, HDD is much slower if i remember right i had like 2-3 minutes or so for full functionality at the desktop until everything was ready you can easy"pimp" older systems with the SSD upgrade and still keep them a few days ago a customer showed his a dell inspirion 1720 ( ~10 Years old) and the SSD protected it from being disposed
  7. thanks for that story, so these components were in the room with UV activated for 24/7 365 days ? most people said it harms parts after a period of like 5 years and i´ll be using it in the evening for maybe 3-4 hours a day on my "pc"-podestal next to the desk
  8. i believe that it harms some of the components in long term... but IMO. getting cancer from a few hours a day within my pc, behind a tempered glass panel is ridiculous cant imagine me visiting the doc to tell me i got skin cancer from my pc light, no offense
  9. @bling is the glow only from those RGB fans and the liquid color? great aesthetic so far
  10. so you say from my usual usage of ~5years per rig (currently in the 2nd year ) and then selling them i should be safe
  11. cablemod suggested them to me
  12. i hope some of you already got "long time" experience on UV light and pc parts and shares the story or tells about shenanigans long story short i wanted some light in my case and got a UV recommendation @unknownmiscreant warned about possible dangers that the UV can harm the components thanks in advance
  13. just wanted to get some nice glow into the case, i didnt recognize any warnings on the sites that sell UV light for cases great to learn more about those chemical details and "alchemy" that keeps the world together i´ll create a seperate topic about that and "summon" you there i think i´ll just give it a try and see if something is getting "porous" or changes continuously
  14. thanks for the input, Rig is in my signature therefore i´ll see if there is any evidence or information about the parts being UV-Protected or not my update cycle for a "comple overhaul" is 4-5 years, after that i sold my systems currently the rig is almost 2 years old so i guess the risk isnt that big for 2-3 more years? @unknownmiscreant
  15. welcome to the forum got the alienware after release and its great, playing escape from tarkov, witcher3, rocketleague, doom and some racing games easy menu handling with buttons, OC to 120hz option in menu, 4 RGB "zones" if you´re into that loved the "clean" aesthetic might go for a desk-mount and get rid of the giant feet ( with cablemanagement holes ) is a problem if you got a small desk, mine is 1,80m x 0,80m lucky that i got 0 backlightbleed Acer and Asus do a great job too, i wanted the acer x34P since i saw them on the ces videos but i dislike acer for not producing/selling after that IMO all 3 are almost the same and you should choose the one which aesthetics you like the most you´ll also need a beefy GPU, my 980ti was able to get ~60fps on most titles and the 1080ti rocks solid 100-120+
  16. you are a angerfish and got me hooked, that UV glow is awesome are those the regular "light green" with black cables that react?
  17. looks gorgeous still got the same PSU, only changed to another case i´ll configure some cables later in green black maybe with some silver now i only have to get a nice solution to get light into the case anyone got advice?
  18. my new case finally arrived and i swapped that cursed bequiet SB600 to sell or just burn it... now i´d like to get some more "accents" and aesthetics in with custom cables and light --> RGB ( those can run rgb and white too ? ) never did that in a case so i´d be loving some input on this fan settings top-AIO and rear exhaust while the 2 nf A14 intake --edit might paint those noctua or get some "silent" black fans powersupply is a evga g2 supernova 750w, need to measure the lengths i need in the next days ram is crucial balistix tactical tracer ( can swap between red / green light ) tempered glass is great, looking into the case with daylight whats to recommend for some light phillips HUE? corsair commander ? my location is germany and currency euro thanks in advance edit:added a pic of the old and some of new rig ( sorry for bad quality OP3T) old case
  19. dust filters are no bad thing and they dont hurt fan performance
  20. ATI Radeon HD 3870, so if i go for the ryzen i´ ll need a additional low budget / used gpu
  21. great @Lurick @RKRiley added a picture and some more info
  22. the budget is ~400 euro bucks ( location germany ) usage would be browsing / movies / "light" -retro gaming the guy doesnt want to change his case, so i´m stuck with the internal dvd drives etc edit: added a pic of the old build ... after dusting DualCore Intel Core 2 Duo E8300 4GB DDR2 887 ASRock 4Core1333-GLAN ATI Radeon HD 3870 existing parts for the new build OS WinX Pro 64bit SSD 850 evo 250GB 3 Sata HDD 500GB + 1,5TB + 1TB ( from old build ) Displays 19" & 22" dvi / hdmi connection 10year old case 2x 5 1/4" dvd sata drives PSU ( need to get additional info about wattage etc ) Peripherals ( mouse / keyboard / printer ) needed parts: ryzen 3 or going for intel i3 gen 8 mobo with wifi or without + a good wifi card edit: ( needs minimum 5 Sata connectors ) 8GB Ram maybe psu what would you suggest?
  23. ok nice, also heard about the bose soundsport but the earpods are connected via cord @PETRGangKing @mathizel any great wired options?
  24. they look very nice, but i dont know why i should put 4gb music into my headphones, i guess everyone nowadays got his phone somewhere close i guess i´ll just order and try them if i get no "better" suggestions thanks for that
  25. might be a stupid question but, do i have to use itunes then? specs seem to be great with 5hours battery etc white isnt my color but nothing that a sharpie or plastidip cant fix
