How in the world is this topic allowed for an english essay when 98% of the world wouldnt know what youre talking about. Choose something more tangible like mobile gaming versus pc gaming. Or if you real want to go in depth then the capabilities or ARM vs x86 and how computers will change in time. 

If you're someone who just wants the computer to work out of the box and you're not too concerned about money then the Imac is great. It's pretty and it can handle all of your work applications.
 
For those of you who immediately attack the machine for not being a gaming beast : Not a lot of games are even available for mac and if they are they're shitty ports. You don't buy them for that.

considering how cheap power supplies were going around black friday you could probably pick a decent one up for very little now. id have to do a pc part picker to compare it to more recent hardware but it doesnt seem like a terrible purchase

They did similar things with iPad 2, it was being sold together with the Air, and no iPad 3 and 4.

i have it, too bad you ddint preorder to get the 50 google play dollars. i like it but i havent stressed it too much. maybe im just not a picky person but the screen is amazing along with the camera. the speaker is loud enough, maybe not good quality but for real poeple just need to put headphones in. battery is okay, depends on the person ofcourse but i can always make it a full day. the most irrtating thing is that the cable is so short and its usb-c to usb-c. sure its fast charging its all around inconvient. thats no reason to not buy the pone though.
