Hey, I just replicated this with my 2020 MacBook air i5 16g ram. I just bought a single thermal pad off amazon. I got a better score than your water cooled contraption on battery. I won the silicon lottery I guess.

I believe it was a kick starter project that people weren't receiving pre-orders for. I would stay away.

I have been in the market for a new laptop for about a year now. I bought my laptop back in 2015 and at the time thunderbolt 3 was coming out and a I swore my next computer would have that port. Fast forward to now and Intel's 10th gen ice lake processors promise wifi 6 and thunderbolt 3 integrated on the chip. I was really disappointed to hear that the new Surface Laptop 3 only came with usb 3.1 and not thunderbolt so i crossed it off my list and had my eyes laser focused on the Lenovo C940. It released but when i went to best buy to take a look they only had they Surface laptop 3 on display. I was captivated while snaping an excel sheet and a chrome window on to the 3:2 ratio screen but the keyboard is what had me in love.The metal was cold to the touch with an elegant mirror finish Microsoft logo, but when i turn the device to its side all i could stare at was the barren usb-c port. With Windows Central Review of the 15 inch out saying the Ryzen 5 variant just barely out performs the intel iris pro in the 13 inch model and under performs an mx150 in graphics I am heart broken. The only reason Microsoft would have LEFT OUT thunderbolt would be to make the line up less confusing but it cheapens an incredibly premium ultra book. Comeback in 6 months when USB 4.0 fixes all the problems while creating many more.

My recommendation would be to just get a backpack with decent padding. Their cheap on amazon now and its less bulk overall.

In order to buy the enclosure you must be an apple dev which costs 100 dollars a year i believe. You must also own a mac to be a dev. those things aside this is still a cheap box. Yes i understand sonnet makes their own boxes as well. We've seen multiple tests that say the razer core and similar thunderbolt enclosures bottleneck the gpu only by 15%. Yes you can build a PC for cheaper without the bottleneck but with apple giving official support for external graphics other manufacturers will follow in their path. Companies like dell aren't up at night worried about razer, but they certainly care about what apple is doing. Can we please stop pretending that windows 10 isn't a gross operating system. I use it, its inconsistent and crashes.

Well saying quite far is a little off. Clock speeds haven't changed that much in the past years because manufacturers are more concerned with tdp.

okay how do install the os when its on a different drive? do i need to buy another one?

This is a very basic question that i haven't found a proper guide on and i have been looking for about a year. I have a laptop. it has a hard drive that i want to remove and replace with an ssd. I already know how to open the laptop and change it. I heard that a fresh install of windows is better than cloning. So how do install windows with out repurchasing it and what is the best service to transfer all of my files.

is watch dogs 2 multiplayer? this feels like such an odd combo. A mic and a game.

i dont really mind it being non-upgradable. G-sync monitors do have a huge price jump however freesync is quite cheap. Enough to get a rx480 and a 4k monitor under $700. Of Course this doesn't include the razer cores technology, but combination of the 3 and a razor blade stealth would come out lower than the new surface studio.

Do you think we'll ever see a display with an embedded GPU. After that apple event i was more disappointed that this wasn't released than i was with the macbook pro. Do you think a company like asus would create something like this? They make both screens and gpus. original article

its a great pair of headphones but this isnt a deal. They were 110 this summer on amazon and i got mine for 90 on groupon. i guess the price has gone up recently. I would say wait till black friday.
