    The 970 is definitely a capable graphics card and there is no denying that. I would 100% go for the 1440p. 1080p is dying and we all have to accept that. The 1080p will be worthless if you choose to sell it in the future whereas the 1440p will be worth more.

    What monitor would you suggest I use ? The bezel on my xl2411z is quite big so I'm not sure if it would look good

    I'm going to wait until the Vega cards come out before I decide whether I should get one of those with a gpu block or just a gpu block for my 390x

    I'm not a big fan of the looks of those speakers. I will definitely consider some speakers though

    I can highly recommend the evga supernova g2 750 watt power supply as I have one myself. Worth every penny.

    I'm glad you say that. I have alpha cool acrylic tubing, alpha cool eisbaer block, alpha cool fittings, alpha cool rad... I think you see where I'm going with this but I have everything except the gpu block. I COULD start it now but not sure if it's worth doing without a gpu block

    I appreciate your comments on my cable management. I really did try. When it comes to speakers I haven't got a clue what to look for. Any suggestions?

    Not sure if im allowed to post these but i have 200 pounds left. How would you spend that money to improve the setup, or even the PC. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

    When i restart my computer everything is fine but when i enter a game it starts and when i close the game it says there for a while

    Doesnt flicker when using hdmi. Also i cant get 144hz on hdmi so i wont be using that

    you mean like hdmi or you mean put the cable in other dvi slot on gpu?

    So since very recently when my benq xl2411z is set to 144hz, i get small distortion like effects at the top of the screen. How do i fix this? i have attached a video showing what it looks like (this only happens for about 40 seconds) 20170103_151215.mp4
